One concern I have that no one’s mentioned so far to the best of my knowledge is that if it’s this tough to toss out a president who has performed this poorly and who possesses so little character and integrity what does this spell for our future?
Stick a fork in us, we’re done. I flat out believe this is it. This is the last chance to avoid the financial cliff we’ve been barreling towards. When Obama finally launched his ‘agenda’ after the debates, an 18 page pamphlet mostly comprised of glossy photos without a word on entitlement reform…This should never have been a close race.

Well, there is always this:

Cold be the bubble bursting.

No doubt there are some dark omens for the Obama team, but it’s sort of a weird atmosphere. Hard to explain. Everything suggests to me that this is going to be a R+1-R+3 year. I’ve made a call that Romney will win based on what some of the early voting analysis suggests, what the intensity and enthusiasm is looking like for the R’s and the D’s, etc. And hey, who the heck wants to ride the fence. Be bold, make a prediction!

Still it’s embarrassing that a man with this record, and a last minute 18 page pamphlet of pictures as a second term agenda, is still within range. He could very well win this thing. It’s going to come down to turnout.

President Obama said that in 2025 we would only be able to service the interest on the debt and meet SS and medicare obligations. Everything else–every single other entitlement/welfare program, defense, courts, everything–would be paid for on borrowed money. Obama said this. In this election cycle he spent the entire time demonizing Romney and Ryan for putting their run for the White House on the line by proposing actual structural changes to these third-rail programs. When finally–in the last minute and after the debates were over–he unveils a 2nd term agenda it’s a damn picture book with jack crap in about entitlement reform. And he’s still in the hunt? That’s a damned disgrace.

I think this will be a fucking mess tomorrow. Both sides are ready to claim fraud and sue. You can almost hear the lawyers licking their chops.

telling you, Romney just talked about gear on MNF, he is going to lose.

But seriously, this isn’t going to be close. It will be enough of a win from one side or the other that there will be more wound licking than litigation on Wednesday.

We’ll be watching a concession speech about 24-26 hours from now.

I’m thinking about going to Romney’s little party, but by the time I’m done with my daughter i won’t be able to get into the city from my house and find parking.

Anyone just watch Chris Berman interview Romney and Bam during MNF football halftime?

I give the nod to Bam for better performance.

Romney’s answer regarding the #1 problem in sports being PED’s was very unimpressive.

Having said all that, Berman’s questions varied between the candidates. He could’ve done a better job in that regard.
Answer’s: Obama was much better

Energy and life: Romney was much better

McCain tried the same PED bullshit last time, romney is a dumbass.

My mom has talked for years even before Obama won in 2008 that he was going to be a bad choice. She wants Obama out of office just as much as Zeb and others have made known. I believe he doesn’t deserve another term. But… if he does win, are we really fucked to the point where I am afraid of a second term by Obama. Is that rational thinking?

Obama; you didn’t fill that

You and I may not have liked his answer regarding PED’s but did you know that the average viewer of sports thinks that the biggest problem in sports today is PED’s?

The man is honed in.

Quite honestly you should fear an Obama second term. I am absolutely changing my business plans based on who wins this Presidential election. I will not have a bulls eye placed on my back because I happen to have succeeded. If he wants a smaller poorer America I will be in line to give him just that. Lower employee wages and higher prices. And there are 10’s of thousands of business people who feel exactly the way I do. And we hire about 65% of all new employee’s. That is one reason why the economy is so stagnant. Obama has threatened small business people all over America. And our reaction has been to stay put, No new hires, no expansion.

Obama is a far, far left wing radical (should I use the word socialist?). He’s proven it over and over again. And if the news media were actually fair he wouldn’t even stand a chance against Romney. They’ve propped him up to the point of legitimacy. And if he’s reelected, I know this sounds dire, but I do feel that we will all wake up to a very different America than what we’ve known four years from now. And none of us, even most who voted for him will like it very much.

-A larger even more inefficient government.

-Higher taxes for every working man and woman.

-poor access to your choice of health care.

-Runaway debt.

-America no longer a super power by 2016-2020

-More IRS agents, Obama is ready to hire 10,000 more agents January 1st.

We really are at a crossroads and that’s why I gave to the Romney campaign until it hurt.

This is it boys…we win tomorrow or things change for the worse and I don’t see how we ever get back.

Precisely because the media and grandstanding congressmen and senators have force fed it to a gullible public.
I totally agree with you Push. But, it is election eve and he is trying to win the highest office in the land. If I were advising him I would urge him not to try to change peoples minds about PED’s just now.

Fair enough?

But… Big Bird!

But seriously, couldn’t agree with you more. More O isn’t going to end well.

Thanks for the detailed and thorough response. I am only 20, but I’ve heard that I will be mostly affected by Obama if he is given a 2nd term. God help us if he is re-elected. I’ll be praying tonight.

Okay folks… I am hearing rumors Obama cried, yes real tears on stage in Iowa tonight.

If it isn’t from the wind and cold… I just, I don’t know what to say.

I will keep you updated as info rolls in.

dear Obama; he filled that

Quick voting question: I moved bout 2 years ago and never updated my driver’s license with the new address, is there anyway I can still vote tomorrow or no?

Thanks Zeb. I actually just posted this on facebook before coming here and reading your post (seriously!).

I’m going to make one final post on the election before slipping back into Secret Conservative mode. I will scale back my original prediction just a bit. I now believe Romney may not win by over 300 electoral votes, but it will be close, and it will be enough to be considered a mandate. Probably closer to 300 than to 270. He will take Ohio, Florida, New Hampshire and Virginia for certain. He will also likely take Iowa and Wisconsin.

Popular vote by 3 to 4%

I’ll bet cash money to anyone who thinks I’m wrong, but you’d better get your bets in quick. Odds are against me, should be easy money. (^=^)b
