Well, in First Corinthians 9:27, the Apostle Paul advised the faithful to “beat your body and make it your slave.” Then in Ephesians 5:28, he tells them to “love your wife as your own body.”
Thus by following the dictates of both verses, we may conclude that good Christians are commanded to enslave and beat their wives.
