A few bad apples and contradictions come to light here.
Congratulations. After years of silly, half-wit, incomprehensible posts, you finally produced something that I can agree with. Yes, Glass-Stegall should not have been repealed. It opened a Pandora’s box of dangers.
…but your taste in avatars is as bad as ever.

Half-wit silly posts (i.e. things that come to a different conclusion than your ideology) But I’m glad to see that you agree that deregulation is not magical and does not automatically equal better performance. Government regulations can be good.

To each his own. Don’t look if you don’t like. Some on here like it.
I look at governmental regulation much like I do chemo. To be used rarely and sparingly, and only when nothing else will do the trick.

And I look at regulation like referees in a sporting event. You do not let the teams playing call there own penalties. There are rules to follow and folks to enforce them.

A model subject you are. So willing to look past the fact that the government is not an uninterested third party like a referee. So willing to believe that a relationship can’t be mutually beneficial unless forced to be by a ruler. So…I’m not going to say that based on what you say on an internet message board. You might just enjoy getting a rise out people by making yourself seem that way.

So what is your basic argument why Glass-Stegall should have been repealed?

It doesn’t matter, because in 10 posts or less you will be talking about healthcare or some euro-zone school system that you admire anyway.
