If you knew about powerlifting you would admit that Sheiko is a powerlifting program. Therefore you are clueless.
I don’t care who sheiko is. Ive heard of who a lot of sports scientists are, and have done Westside based conjugate templates.
And as a guy who lifts weights, Ive gotten pretty strong.
If I run Sheiko I’m not doing general strength training, I’m doing powerlifting.
Or are you going to say Sheiko is not a powerlifting program now?
Have I said it is not.
Anyway, I can post you privately book recommendations. It’s easier to discuss when we’re discussing about same topics.
Calling all lifting general strength training doesn’t negate the fact that there’s different subsets such as powerlifting, Olympic weight lifting and bodybuilding.
And the Conjugate method is a powerlifting program because it’s specifically designed to maximize performance in the competition lifts. It’s a structured, advanced approach to powerlifting, even if someone uses it casually outside of meets. It’s definitely not CrossFit or bodybuilding
I used it to get stronger for work.
Now its a tree cutting/concrete working/welding & fabrication program.
How you like those apples? ![]()
I’ll use what ever methods I want for what ever purpose I please.
Louie Simmons invented the Conjugate method. Guess what he was…
wait for it….
A powerlifter.
He was a strength and conditioning coach that specialized and participated in powerlifting.
And once again, you mistake who made it and who uses it.
“He was a strength and conditioning coach that specialized and participated in powerlifting.“
So….basically a powerlifter. Wait a minute, I thought those who participate in powerlifting are powerlifters aren’t they?
Phylogeny bro. Learn about it.
He did compete in powerlifting.
You should stay in your lane bro.
Ah, so now we’re in biology class? Last I checked, Louie Simmons was still a powerlifter first and a coach second. Phylogeny won’t change that fact.
I’m glad you admit he was a powerlifter and that the Conjugate method was written by a powerlifter.
Why would I not?
He was as authentic of an article as one could be. Exemplary, really.
But how people use what he produced is up to the user. No titles required.
On the same note, I’ve used the Waterbury Method for my own purposes too.
This shouldn’t be surprising to anybody.
Do you have to play the guitar in a concert to be a guitarist?
No, you can just identify as one. ![]()
Yeah you would identify as a guitarist if you play the guitar. Why is that hard to grasp?
You seem really hung up on external validation.
This must be some kind of gatekeeping on your part.
I use a guitar to scare cats and make babies cry. Does that make me a guitarist or a cat scaring baby crier?
