AMEN BROTHER GHOST…

I remember, and miss, the glory days of MTV.

People always look at me like I’m an idiot when I tell them roids are as safe, if not safer than, aspirin. Why do they give me such looks? Because, “that’s not what I heard on TV”.

Steroids have a bad rep because 140 kids, who know nothing about them, start taking them thinking they’ve reached their genetic potential after they gained 10 pounds- going from 140-150- while hurting themselves because of their lack of knowledge.

Also those same kids stun thier growth if they juice up at an early age.

I remember watching this on tv. How pathetic. Like one of the Youtube posters commented, atleast they could have shown some guys with actual size and strength who use steroids.

While not really a fan of steroids, most of the people I have known who take them are very well educated/prepared. These three douchebags are a disgrace to weightlifting in general, not just to roid users. I know HS kids who have better physiques than them and have barely taken SUPPLEMENTS.

Steroids had the major knock against them in the mid-90s by that football player who appeared on Dateline blaming his brain cancer and myriad of medical issues on steroid use.

Of course, his neurologist and his internist said he was wrong, but that didn’t stop Dateline from only showing him. That started the crusade against steroids, and since then there have been several doctors that regularly testify on capitol hill about the dangers of steroid use claiming that many people have died from it without any records to back them up because death from steroid use “comes in many forms.”

Which is true, steroid abuse kills.

So does alcohol abuse and cigarette abuse, but by the millions.

Hell, tylenol abuse kills.
