Why Saying that Ideas of a Master Race is Stupid

Just because you got something that was originally Norwegian and out it here in English doesn’t necessarily mean you translated it yourself or that you are from Norway.

oh nards. clearly you need to watch more documentaries.

And more good history magazines.

If history really is written by the victor, how do you know they aren’t just saying that it is?
well people find archives that was usually kept secret, and then they see how it really is. there is a lot of stuff that the government of any nation wants to keep from the public, which they succeed in doing, but stuff like that gets discovered in later generations, when the archives become available.

a different example is:

what the greek and romans did in order to gain support for something, or to brew hate against something, they say untrue things. which because they win, gets documented and archived, which is then again discovered and believed to be true history. but found later to be propaganda.
You missed my point. In order for history to be written by the victor, it requires complicity of the population whether through violence or persuasion. There are examples where history was not re-written by the victor: the book-burning and execution of scholars in Alexandria is a good one.

If you buy into the idea that the victor always gets to shape history in their favour, then you are at some level helping to support it because it doesn’t always happen that way and you’re just propagating an untruth (which is basically what “history is written by the victor” means anyway).

my first language is norwegian btw. and i don’t write that bad english just because it’s not perfect.

Talking to you is like explaining einstein’s theory of general relativity to a five year old, it’s impossible to get a good response.

you base all your arguments on either my age or your inability to understand basic stuff. and you occasionally make up stuff, and call me out on it.

Yes it does, or it does to a sane person atleast.
i said that I translated it and if i werent Norwegian why the fuck would i i try to translate a quote that was originally in English from Norwegian to English again? i mean where in hell should i find something like that and not the original English quote???

i am surprised you remember to breathe.

This just keeps on getting better!

ok i am done with this

This thread has really evolved into something special. Would read again.

Well done, you made it 4 pages!

OP probably watched the first half of American History X and skimmed a few pages of Mein Kampf and now thinks being a Neo-Nazi is totally bad ass!

True. There are plenty of online translators to do the work.

Although if he is from Norway it might explain a few things:

This is pretty much your opening statement which is insinuating Nazi Germany should be put in a better light because a couple of countries of the dozen or so Allied forces had similarly dubious ideas. You strengthen that sentiment with your “History is written by…” comment and now you say this has nothing to do with the war?

Seriously, get a fucking clue. Wanting to debate the similarities is one thing; making crass and disrespectful comments like the above just makes you look like a 16 year old who can’t see outside the boxes of b…

in fact, why am I even bothering.

Carry on lol.
the reason why i wrote " history is written by the victor " is because i was explaining that stuff like how nazi germany = greater evil and the allied forces = greater good has suddenly become General knowledge, stuff that " everyone knows "

and that it was because that the allies won, that it became general knowledge, hence history is written by the victor.

it’s not about the fucking war just because i mentioned it’s existence. am i suppose to act like it never happened?
Ah so it’s fine to refer to the war when it suits your point but we can otherwise ignore it if it goes against you; that’s what your saying? Nazi Germany are the greater evil because they were responsible for the fucking Holocaust- not because they didn’t win the war.

Had Nazi Germany won the war we would STILL be calling them evil bastards, cept we would be saying it like “ubel sveins!!!” or something along those lines.

Still shaking my head in despair at how someone 16 years of age could say something like Nazi Germany didn’t deserve it’s bad rap…

If they insist on playing golf in the dark, then it’s their own fault.

Laughed at the term FJORD MONKEYS, but would not read again. I cringe at the fact that I share a country with the OP, but please keep in mind that every country has its share of… eh, monkeys.

Maybe you’re a 16 year-old girl, I’m not sure, because it seems like you weren’t ever allowed to use logic.

…wut?

Being a blind person, I’m thankful that I am part of the master race. I’ve always tried to think of humans like squirrels. There are red ones, black ones, grey ones. They don’t seem to cross breed. Since all humans can cross breed, that makes humanity the master race of humans. Because we aren’t the only member of the Homo genus, we would be, naturally, the superior homo. So then we spread across the world AND FORGOT HOW TO COMMUNICATE! Enter, self aggrandizing meglomaniacs. Result? Confusion
