Just curious. Why is testosterone undecanoate more dangerous to inject then other esters? Is it just cause you’re injecting 3 CC’s at once? Wouldn’t guys doing cycles have the same issues with pulmonary oil micro embolisms?
POME reactions have been reported with testosterone undecanote to my knowledge. But seem far less common with other traditional injectable preparations of testosterone. The reason as to why I cannot specify, probably due to the very high volume of oil being injected into the subject.
I’ve had a POME reaction ONCE, from primoteston, incredibly unpleasant. Started feeling tightness in my chest, then felt incredibly dizzy, sweating profusely thought “well, this is the end I guess”, started coughing vigorously, fell, kept violently coughing, then after about a minute it went away (started about 10 seconds post shot)… and yes, I hit a vein, upon pulling the plunger back prior to injection blood was present, but I decided to shoot anyway.
This was about… half a year ago?
That must’ve sucked. Damn. How much volume did you inject? I no longer aspirate anymore. It’s almost impossible to inject into a vein at a 90 degree angle. I can see it being more possible with sub q injections as the angle is more parallel. But I’m not doubting your story as you experienced first hand.
It was actually very surprising, it’d never happened before. only 125mg (so 0.5ml)
Was it IM or sub q? With IM it’s pointless to aspirate as most people do it wrong. Plus the needle never stays in the same spot. So you can aspirate and still nudge the needle slightly deeper

I don’t have anything helpful to add. Zero experience. I’m just here to point out how that particular steroid has a fantastic name. It’s not just testosterone, but testosterone with an esoteric modifier that sounds like it could be part of a drug-fueled black magic ritual employed by a number of English guitarists.
