Why Iceland?

.

I think the have a little culinary specialty there, basically, fermented shark.

I would go for it, but I would not expect it to taste anything better than expected.

Which, if I am doing the expecting, is probably nothing to look forward to.

But, you could say you did it.

<---- Jelly. Sooooooooo jelly.

Nice Pics Edgy, thanks for sharing them. Makes me want to go to Iceland even more now.

Awesome!

yeah… even the Iclanders were warning us away from the fermented shark, seems they would like to be known for more than some rotten fish…

This reminds me, whatever happened to Cheeta? Wasn’t she from Iceland? Can’t even find her profile anymore.

i think, yes~

we stayed at some country hotel, and toured the southern end of Iceland.

there is what they call hut-to-hut hiking available, but it is an overland route, and the huts are nothing more than a place to get dry and restock for hiking.

we stuck to a hotel with a shower and warm food~

You are one helluva good and rugged looking dude, Edgy. Perfect match for the Icelandic landscape.

Also, great new avatar!

Who drew it?

dunno - do you recognize the signature?

Iceland looks cool. I am jealous.

My mom has been there a couple times because her cousin and childhood friend (who is Israeli — Dorrit Moussa or Mosssomething) is married to someone allegedly important in the Iceland government.

In fact a lot of Israelis go there to work on radar or something military.

Very cool pics, thanks for sharing!
