as a side note, it’s probably worth mentioning that Brian has at least 4 training logs on this site, and has been a member for FAR longer than his youtube channel has existed. So I would say that would be a pretty good reason for people around T Nation to know about him, wouldn’t you say, @scrubsman ? the guy has literally thousands of posts here.

The thing is, there is a whole crew of the youtube guys that have a certain lineage of accomplishment and association. They’re part of a network of accomplished (proven) winners.
This Alpha Destiny guy has none of those chops. Not saying he doesn’t have what it takes to get them, just that he hasn’t done what the others have. Maybe if he started competing in PL or strongman and paid his dues at West Side he could become one of the more respected or interesting youtoobers, but thus far he hasn’t.
I think that a take home point on this is that before someone starts a youtube channel and says a bunch of stuff on a given subject they should probably go out and do something worth saying first.

That’s a big call! If I’m going to a game, have my teams colours on and am yelling myself hoarse to keep the morale up, I am definitely going to be saying ‘us’ and ‘we’ to describe the team.
Youtubers are generally just one or 2 people.
You don’t normally go “we did really well against Nadal” if you are backing Roger Federer in tennis.

So… im guessing the train of thought to some that a higher subscription rate on You tube equals better information . So Mr.Destiny has 100,000 and EliteFTs with Dave Tate has 1/2 that when I looked. Yeah sounds logical.

In many countries, there are clubs. And those clubs field teams in a variety (or just one) competition.
If one chooses, they may be a member of said club, even at a social level.
It would be strange to me, if people of that club didn’t refer to their team as “we”.
Out of curiosity, do you refer to teams your country fields in international events as we?
That would just be wrong. It was a great momemt when Roger Federer and I won our 19th grand slam though.
