Why Do You Lift?

I just love training.

I do so many different things in a week of training.

And to tell the truth I’m a bit of naricisism and an attention whore.

Narcisism because I gotta look good so all my wife’s friends make those little comments about me being “pretty” or how their husband doesn’t have a chest.

And attention whore because I love the look on other guys faces when I do a crazy ass Crossfit workout or the reaction my neighbors have when I’m walking around my front yard with a 230+ lb stone.

Plus I just turned 30 and I don’t want to turn into these disgusting weak bodies that I’m surrounded by at work.

I dont understand why anyone would ever want anything less than a “high performance” body.

I often wonder why people are soooo attached to ther vehicles and how these vehicles look, yet their own true vehicle, (the body)is lain to waste.

You are a wise man. I say the same thing to my automotive enthusiast friends. I believe it is starting to sink into some of them too.
Stupid.
