People from west africa have, on average, a high proportion of fast twitch fibres, but people from Kenya certainly don’t despite their skin being just as dark.
As to the OP, being a good sprinter and being able to lift heavy weights are only mildly correlated. Having a stocky build (as is common in eastern european and scandinavian populations) is great for lifting a lot in the weight room but not as good for sprinting or jumping.
People need to stop thinking so much in terms of race and start thinking in terms of geography. Black people from different parts of africa are very different in terms of body structure and muscle fiber makup. Same goes for white people from different parts of Europe.[/quote]
Exactly. World-class marathoners come from east Africa, not west Africa. Most blacks in the western hemisphere are of west African descent. Had it been the other way around the OP would be stereotyping African-Americans as ectomorphs.
Also, what ElbowStrike said about the tails of bell curve distributions.

unfortunately thats not how it works, in terms of physcial appearance such as eye color, skin tone, facial features, and hair type/color its a toss up but in terms of body composition and body type serena’s genes would be dominant and would make up whatever athletic ability the child has, this is only because serena is black and her traits are more dominant than brock’s, for what reason i dont know (dark goes over light similar to eye color i believe) but thats how it would go.
were talking about two entirely different races and thus entireley differnt genetic adaptations to climate, they cant just mix down the middle otherwise neither would really work, one has to be dominant over the other, were made to survive first and not just play sports and lift unfortunately haha.
james henderson is the best bench presser of all time. further, if all nfl players converted to powerlifting/strongman, your observations would be different.
