There are general references to the Law of Moses being fulfilled in Christ (see Matthew 5:17-18), but it is not specified what was fulfilled and what continues to apply.
For example, the 10 commandments were given to Moses, but they are still considered to be in effect. However, most (but not all) of the ordinances and judgments are no longer considered by most Christians to be in effect.
The ritual sacrifices in anticipation of Christ’s sacrifice, in particular, were fulfilled.
The rest is really up to individual interpretation.

You should have read more of the thread, it turns out it’s another atheist who wants to mock and make fun of Christians because atheists know it all, because their 5 senses tell them so…

I don’t, I wan’t phonebooths back, and people on the other end of the line and not some crappy voice recognition software that doesn’t work. If I truly want to know about something I still have to read a book, okay, I can order it through the internet, and pay my bills, but that’s it. And I want cars that I can fix myself without software, just by ear, in general I want back the stuff that was worth repairing.
Okay sorry, I’ll continue my grumbling somewhere else.

No, please continue it can be very therapeutic.

Oh, I see. Having kids suddenly reverses the lack of evidence for your creator and magically will make me accept a God who would allow (relatively) arbitrary finite actions to result in eternal torture… Makes perfect sense.
No.
Again you miss the point; which is the point.

He has a decade or more of missing the point ahead of him. It’s inevitable. AND the time period is likely to be extended the more he insists he is an authority on deep subjects based on the fact that his 10th grade geometry teacher told him he was a smart boy.

I’ve a new rule for myself as I’ve been wasting too much time debating in these kind of threads. If you’re here to challenge Christians, and you don’t have a basic generic knowledge of the faith, yet press on anyways, I’m just putting you on ignore.

And I will expose you for the ass you are until I get tired of it, then I will ignore you…
I think the concept of salvation is very confusing to some people. The idea that a person is judged more on their faith then their actions is difficult for some to deal with.

Well, it’s very haphazard, that’s for sure.
It’s really not as difficult as some make it out to be…
Accept Christ as your personal savior… Recognize that there is none righteous no not one.
Look at what is required for perfection in the eyes of God and then ask yourself if that is possible for anyone you have ever known?
Then you’ll understand why Christ was needed. A grand sacrifice to wash the masses in the blood ofthe lamb and give us a fighting chance and having the glory of our maker be upon us some day. It’s a beautiful thing really.

I have accepted him several times, not a bleep, I must be doing something wrong. But that was not the point. Breivik has faith, maybe it withers some day and he kills himself, hopefully so but you have to choose the right faith, don’t you, Hare Krishna for example wont do.

Breivik is not a Christian. If you have read his manifesto you would know the that man equates Christians to “White Western”. He goes so far as to say that he isn’t a very religious man and even uses the term “Christian Atheist” in his writings.
This man is obviously disturbed and contrary to some other world religions what he did was most certainly the antithesis of being a Christian.

I don’t understand what you mean here btw? Are you saying you tried to accept him and he didn’t answer you?

He has faith, still does, nothing to do with christianity.
