True, but when a city’s means of disposing trash involves every establishment dumping their garbage bags on the curb for pickup, you can’t really be surprised when a systemic desensitization to filth occurs.
I’ll be visiting NYU for work at some point within the next few weeks and am hopeful that I can either avoid this degenerate practice entirely or swing through on days cool enough that whatever bags the rats and homeless tore open don’t reek too harshly.
