Like the other 99% of threads that are begun on T Nation PWI.
Okay…well let’s give it a try.

Ha wanna bet? I have been hearing this for 30 years and then after the election they total up the votes and a minimum of 86% to 93% vote for the democrat for President. While I think Trump will do better than most republicans the dems will still win the lions share of the black vote. Hey…just a guess but I would bet on it.
No! I only bet on things I have direct control over. I was only basing my statement on a few people I’ve talked to and what they’ve said.
So, with respect for Mufasas wishes, let’s not turn this into a “how the blacks vote” spur.
I agree with your point.
First, no, I’m not offended at all. That’s stupid.
Second, the statement you made in your last post “I can say with 100% certainty I BELIEVE Hillary is worse than Trump” is not what you have been saying. For the past few months. You have declared as an objective fact that Hillary is worse than Trump. That is not a fact, it is as of right now an opinion. The two kinds of statements are categorically different, and it’s not mere semantics.
Third, I didn’t say that you are “for Trump” because he has an R next to his name. I said something entirely and substantially different. I said " I don’t think you have bothered to investigate all the implications of Trump because he has an R next to his name."
Fourth, I have realized for years now why you are a republican. Don’t try to be condescending. You have written about those reasons in about every political thread you have participated in for years. They are fully known by me and everyone else.
Fifth, I am not particularly moderate. I lean substantially right of Thunderbolt and other moderates in here.
Sixth, I don’t care about you disagreeing with me. I believe I said that already, I hope your old eyes don’t have trouble reading. The point I take issue with is what you just said: “when you say you think both would be equally bad or some such nonsense I will call you out on it.”
You can only call somebody out on a matter of objective fact, or an act of hypocrisy. My analysis is neither, it simply disagrees with your dearly held opinion, which you dont like. Your opinion to the contrary regarding these two turds running for office is certainly not an objective fact. It is an opinion. Therefore you cannot “call me out” on anything. You have stated you disagree: fine. Agree to disagree. But you are certainly not omniscient and you certainly do not get to claim your opinions as fact when they are no such thing.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion–nobody, however, including you, is entitled to their own facts or to attempt to give their opinions the air of fact.
You are starting to remind me of my dense brother in law. I had to show him how to mow the lawn. Anyway, when you come up with all of my posts which claim my opinions are facts you will show me right?
And the next time someone expresses their opinion, “I like candidate B as candidate A is no good” jump right in there and let them know that they should have said “in my opinion candidate B is better than candidate A” because if they don’t say it is their opinion then they will confuse feeble minded folks into thinking that they are stating a fact. No wait…never mind no one is that stupid.
Again…I just think that for every Trump negative…HRC has about three or more…
Shhhh…talk like that is “enabling Trump” and that is a grievous sin worthy of great scorn!
You said it Push…I have never seen a group of people who claim they dislike Hillary Clinton attack Donald Trump with such vigor.
Not only just on “PWI”…but I think that the majority of the Voting American Public feels that we are facing two “much, MUCH less than ideal” choices in November.
As has been said by many a commentator/Pundit/Historian…you name it…“Democracy is Messy…but the alternatives are far worse…”
It seems that the choices for everyone are this:
Don’t Vote.
Vote for an extremely flawed Candidate in HRC; that you most likely know where she will stand on most issues; and whether you agree or not; has the chops to navigate the Politics of an ever-changing World. OR
Vote for an extremely flawed Candidate in Trump; an unknown quantity in the Political Arena; who promises much needed change in both American Domestic and International Politics…
And who is NOT HRC…
Pretty much. Vote for Hilary knowing what you will get or vote for Trump and take the dice roll.
After hyping Obama and seeing what a disappointment he was, I think people are willing to roll the dice.
As far as attack ads against Trump, everyone knows he is a grandiose douchebag, there is no shock value in highlighting what the people already know. His hair ? Duh, that shit has been joked about for years. His bombastic nature ? Yep, everyone knows about that too ? But his ability to make money, well that sounds like it might help the country in the long run.
His lack of political correctness is refreshing since we have been bombarded with an obscene amount of PC for years now. Liberals have pushed the pendulum too far to the left, and people are sick and tired of it. This culture of PC and SJW bullshit is going to propel him into the White House if Liberals intend to stay their course.
My vote for Trump is more about “not Hillary.” Negative votes still count.
Yep…a Vote is a Vote, Max…
And that is certainly one of the options.
You nailed it Max, excellent post.
As bad as it sounds, I would recommend someone get down in the mud with Trump and see what happens.
I mean fuck it, being nice, being diplomatic, and above the fray hasn’t worked. So why not just go full ham on him. When we whines about being attacked, point out that he shouldn’t dish it out if he can’t take it himself.
He cannot counterpunch if your initial punch is enough to knock him senseless.
17 people tried, Max! (or at least most of them!)
Trump is Mike Tyson in his Prime when he goes on the attack.
One thing about him is that he appears to never attack first. But if he perceives even a slight by someone…it’s game on.
It’s also why you’re a political clod.
You have some big internet balls for a guy who has been caught over and over plagiarizing posts on here, Captain Copy and Paste.
Since you have zero credibility (people who have been caught multiple times don’t get another benefit of the doubt) why don’t you create another screen name and start over.
mmmmK
Sorry Mufasa, but the efforts portrayed by the likes of Jeb and Lindsey Graham are not what I had in mind.
I am talking about going full blown Al Pacino on Trump. Or think of Jack Nicholson Maybe there wasn’t anyone willing or able to carry it out, but sometimes the best method to neutralize a bully is to beat him at his own game.
I’m still just amazed that people still support Trump when he’s willing to back-track on pretty much everything he says.
As bad as it sounds, I would recommend someone get down in the mud with Trump and see what happens.
I think that will happen with Hillary. They will probably live in the mud for several months. Will that work? I doubt it.
I think people just don’t give a shit anymore, not when so much faith was put in Obama and he turned out to be a flop.
