Ah, Lumpy is delusional again. It matters not what Bush does, you will complain about it. If he attacks Iraq, he is a war monger, if he doesn’t attack China, he is a wimp.
The economy is doing great, regardless of how you want to twist the facts. You talk about McDonalds as though they are the only ones to create jobs, but that is not true. Sure they create jobs too, but don’t forget that “computer systems design and related services” is also a part of the service market, and those rose. Are those McComputer jobs?
I have seen enough of Kerry, and he is boring. It is his tone of talk.
Iraq, Now there are terrorists threatening the pro Saddam Terrorists. Nobody realizes how big this is.
As far as the negativity turning people off, are you blind? People are absolutely disgusted by all the Bush bashing that has been going on. And you are part of it. The thing is that it has worked. That is the reason his poll numbers are down, because people who don’t know the facts are falling for the attack propaganda. (You for example.)
Now I love how you say that people don’t vote for who the vice president is, but Edwards will be a plus for Kerry. What kind of double speak is this?
I know you want to bash Bush’s accomplishments, but they are accomplishments. I disagree with his drug bill, but the world is a much better place without Saddam in power. The tax cuts are working, but you cannot see that. We are at the beginning of the expansion. The recovery did take a long time, but is over with the job growth. And that job growth is going to boost Bush’s numbers.
You don’t think they are working? My state just received and extra 100 million in revenue. Now how did that happen? Did the money just pop up out of nowhere? No, the improving economy produced so much more in income for Nebraskans that the state received an extra 100 mil more then expected. Fed revenue should eventually rise also. (This is historical.)
His biggest setback is the fact he is a wartime president. Wartime presidents tend to do real bad in elections.
On the other side, he has hit the bottom of his polls, so they will only go up. Not directly up, but generally up.
Kerry has hit his peak. He will get another around the convention, and then the opposite will happen during the Republican convention, evening out the polls. Other then that, he can only go down. The economy is the big factor, and with a tie right now, Bush wins.
