I totally suck at jump rope. It would be more effective to pantomime a bunny rabbit and jump to a timer. Don’t think I could make it to five minutes at that.
You need to post a pic of it.
I’ll stick a photo on my log as soon as I can. I managed to cycle with some groceries, damn they were heavy.
Disclaimer…I’m becoming one of those newbie tsk-tsk-tskers.
I can’t believe the amount of cyclist not wearing helmets, wear all black with no reflective gear, wear headphones and run red lights. And there are two types of slow cyclists, ones that try their hardest and ones that just don’t pedal.

Well last week the rope jumping was smoother. My sprinting was pretty iffy too, if you can call it sprinting. Felt like running through molasses, I’ll blame the wind. Did the 7 rounds, but felt like a lite jog while gasping for air. Think I managed one good sprint.

Sprinting against the wind is just a form of hills sprints!
No snatches? No dirty Oly lifts?
Disappoint :(
Sorry to disappoint, snatches and oly lifts are practically non-existent for now in this log, can’t even do a light overhead squat properly anymore.

Nice work Mini! I got a bike for this year too… I am excited! Now if the snow ever leaves?..
Is riding new to you?
Hey you, glad to see you posting again.
It’s not new new, been nearly a decade since I’ve done any city cycling as a commute, and been awhile since I’ve done any trail & mountain biking. Still feeling a little nervous cycling through the city and not getting hit.
!!!TMI WARNING!!!
I’ve left the bike at work the last 2 days, cycling with cramps only makes them so much worse, thought I was going to pass out.
Anyway because of my monthly time and taking a couple of holidays no workouts for me until next week. Not really losing any weight but I can’t really complain because I’m feeling more solid.
Where was I…Big ol hiccup in my world, but everything is fine now. I did the most brain dead thing I’ve ever done in my entire life, anyway lesson learned, crisis over.
Hoping to get back in the gym tonight, starting over with the April 10th’s workout. Not concentrating on weight loss for the moment but I’m liking the 10 x 3 so will stick with that for now. Have to find an alternative to benching though, shoulder was not happy.

Well this is indeed mysterious!

Good luck getting back to it!
Well let’s just say some papers were not in order for me, and I’m usually a ‘papers in order’ type of person. But anyway think I’ve been taking a few things for granted in my life and this was just a nice wake up call that ended ok. I was still a bit shell shocked over the weekend of what-could-have-been.
Oof getting back into things has not been easy though, except the cycling. Schedules have been changed around a bit in our household. I might have to do the gym thing earlier which means working out in an over crowded gym, so might cut back on only doing 2 exercises on the 10 x 3, I still need time for rehabby stuff & of course jacuzzi time too for my back.
The free physio stuff is coming to an end soon as well, I’m feeling better on longer stretches of time but still need work.
You no likey frontees? They’re alright, but my wrists are very very bendable. Ugh can’t seem to get pics from phone on this site, will get bike pic soon.
Sat
Going off the sumo deads for awhile, and the military presses are bothering the shoulders, could barely swim the other day, kept catching. Going back to the KB shoulders, w. the bell behind, seems to keep my shoulders in line although doesn’t quite work my mid delts.
10 x 3
DB Dl’s
24kg ea
Could go slightly higher except for lower back, grip was just perfect but legs can do more weigh.
KB presses w/ bell behind
12kg ea
Can do more on these w. 2 x 10 but only really 20 reps, so the 10 x 3 was nice and refreshing to get in 30 reps, each set felt really good.
I can’t OHP without pain/discomfort in the shoulders either. Swimming is so awesome for upper body. Wish I I could get motivated to get back to it. Not good that your shoulder was catching with that motion, though.
There ye go, she’s a bit heavier and not as nimble as a mountain bike but I can at least sit up straight.

I’m not as fit as I thought, did a 11.5km cycle up to relatives the first part mainly at a consistent incline, the other 11.5km going back was fine though.

Yeah I’m thinking no OHP pressing really, the KB press is fine, push presses are fine so jerking should be fine too, whenever that happens.
I took it fairly easy on the swimming…I’m kind of stuck on progress, I got up to a certain water fitness point, but mainly I’ve been using it for some active recovery.
Speaking of pains, yesterday’s little session has the rib/back all upset. Need to see hip/rib guy but he’s away
Hmm been awhile, not sure if I will go back to logging just yet. After the drama last month, I felt like I was looking at life the wrong way and now I don’t know which way to look at it. But the old way was not serving me. Anyway need to get back on the saddle, I’ve also been out of town for a few weeks. The rib and back pain have been pretty low key, so I want to build up very slowly again where I can remain pain free.
