hahahah awesome. i saw these guys on their chaos a.d tour (94?) when they opened with it. the club was about 1/3 the size of your average high school gymnasium, but without the high ceilings.
it wasnt even a ‘pit’. it was like a riot. dudes were backflipping off of speaker stacks and bombing feet first into the crowd. windmills and spin kicks. not like the cheezy emo queercore shit that goes on now. that whole album is a classic. max rules.
Thanks. Do they still tour? I would like to see them if they come here to the Bay Area.

nah man, they broke up in the late 90’s. you might like Soulfly, it was the singers new project after Sepultura and although ive been out of the scene for a while im pretty sure they still make albums and tour. not quite the same tho…
Damn–Sepultara. That brings back some (violent) memories. When I was at URI–early 90s–saw Sepultara, Faith No More, Helmet, Ministry and Pantera each a couple times at the Rocky Point Paladium. They always seemed to tour in some combo. I agree with the term used in the above post. Riot. Remember the guitarist from Sepultara tore his hand open on the guitar strings and was screaming at paramedics (in Portugese I think) to stay away.
Will never forget the first moment of the first show. FNM. Girl I was with said–“You sure you want to be this close–it gets pretty wild” By the end of the sentence I was trampled from behind. One of the shows was in the winter and I got my shirt torn off. Had to ride home shirtless and freezing.
