Who Is Successfully on HCG?

I’m thinking of starting HCG in hope’s of getting the boys back. I was wandering who has had luck? What can I expect from the HCG and how do you like it as apart of your TRT protocol?

If you search, there are like 40 threads on this.

Thanks, I know. Sometimes there’s people with experience who may have missed those old post. Or new members who may have something to add. Just trying to bring fresh input into the forum.

Pretty anecdotal here. My wife and I were trying for about 6 months to have a kid and we couldn’t. I ended up going on hcg therapy. Not for kids but for testosterone. 3 months later almost exactly (he said I would get full effects in 3 months) I put a baby in the wife.

I wasn’t on trt or anything before and I didn’t go on hcg for kids. But that’s my story

Ive tried trt with and without. I prefer to include it, tho it can be logistically a hassle for travelling and just generally timing the shelf life at home( a full 5000IU vial for me lasts longer than its viable refrigerated shelf life i.e. 60 days). I think the effects are subtle at times. It allows me to be on a lower dose of T as im getting additional natural T output. Also, LH has been shown to have activity outside of the testicles affecting various conversion pathways to things like Cortisol.
And it has direct action in the brain…

“Luteinizing hormone (LH) and its homologue, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), are able to elicit multiple effects in the central nervous system (CNS) through binding to their receptors. Specific receptors for LH/hCG have been identified in the hippocampus, dentate gyrus, hypothalamus, cortex, brain stem, area postrema, cerebellum, choroid plexus, ependymal cells, glial cells, neural retina, pituitary gland, and neuron processes of the spinal cord. Neurotropic effects of LH and hCG have been demonstrated”

Generally I feel better on it. but its a fairly tight window. if i increase dose i feel good for a bit energy sex drive up then it crashes, ED kicks in… Probably estro related. So I keep it around 100/iu every other day. Im a believer in back filling pathways while on TRT with preg and dhea also…and i think HCG falls into that category. Our bodies are meant to have LH in them. TRT reduces LH to essentially zero. The same can be said for FSH but ive never seen a cost effective way to include that. If I had unlimited resources id do TRT with HMG.

Do you think with 100 ui EOD you can maintain fertility?

I have no clue. Haven’t been aiming for a pregnancy.
