Your Experiences with Energy and Mood Using HCG?

Can you share if you ve experienced decreased energy and sense of agitation on starting HCG on TRT?

I wanted to start it because I felt declined in sexual well being. Testicular shrinkage was the smallest of my issues, but the decreased seamen volume, decreased sensitivity, prolonged ejaculation and so on made me feel very messed up. So I injected yesterday around 200 UI and a few hours later when I engaged in sexual activity all of these issues were fixed.

But since then I experience also tiredness, sleepiness, agitation and this morning when doing dead lifts got extreme headache. Ive had this before from very low BP.
Do you think this side effects will subside with time if sticking to the HCG protocol?
It is 250ui 2 times per week on top of my 20mg daily sustanon injections

Anyone?

Im also curious as im thinking of trying it for fertility, still unsure if I want kids and open to adoption but I like options. Hopefully someone chimes in .

For me fertility is not the only issue I want to compensate with HCG having no seamen to ejaculate is terrible

Each their own, I never had big ā€œloadsā€ or balls to begin with so I always questioned my fertility. 5 years unprotected sex, no birth control and never an issue. But im curious so I want to try HCG and get tested unless theres a way to tell without.

It depends on how sensitive your testicles respond to the hCG. For me 350 IU hCG raised TT to about 500 n/dL peak.
Maybe the 200 IU on top of the Sus is just too much for you.

But I guess you can only find out by trial and error.

Regarding ejaculate volume, the vast majority volume wise is actually prostate secrete.

Edit: remembered it wrongly, it’s only 30% prostate fluid

I dont think experiencing fatigue and agitation only 3-4 hours after injections is due to hormonal fluctuations, but some reaction to the compound itself. And the last time I checked my total t was in the 800s, there is still room for increase there, for the estrogen as well.

Today I also feel the unpleasant side effects from the HCG but to lesser degree

Peak levels of hCG are reached only a couple of hours after injection. It a water soluble substance not like T esters which are retained by the fat tissue.

Many men report this short honeymoon phase with HCG quickly followed by the sides you mention. Some even report ā€˜euphoria’ after the first shot and never again. Personally, i wasnt able to get HCG to work over the long term until I dialed back the dose/frequency, just like my T shots. 100iu EOD day has worked for me the last couple of years. LH has effects throughout the body. I recall reading somewhere that it plays a role in mediating cortisol synthesis, among other processes. HCG seems to help me with sexual desire, penile sensitivity and better orgasms. Its a small window tho because on higher doses HCG has definitely caused ED for me. But, when I try to go without it completely there is a feeling that something is missing.

I felt the same. So you inject HCG 100 ui daily. Is testosterone daily as well?

T daily. HCG 100iu every other day.

Is 100 ui EOD enough?
Also do you think 2 times a week is too spaced out to produce consistent results?

Im just sharing my experience. My opinion is that HCG is one of those things that the medical community just kind of threw out a number on for a starting dose with men because the literature was only their for women. Id say start lower and increase if necessary. HCG half life is 24-36 hrs. So I think EOD is reasonable. Twice a week doesnt make sense to me. Ive never tested my fertility while using the 100iu EOD day dose but testicular size is about pre TRT size and ejaculate volume while not pre TRT level is better than without HCG.

Makes sense. Maybe I need to switch to 100 ui EOD as well. This can even decrease the side effects I experience
I’ve heard doses less that 200 ui do not do anything, seems that is not true?

You just started yesterday. Just stick to something for at least a month. None of this is going to work if you are going to be making decisions 24 hours after your first dose of anything.

Im still finding my balance with this compound but taking it more often makes much more sense to me
