Which Biotest Protein to Get?

So, It’s time to get more Protein powder and BCAAs.

Is the stuff that they sell on this site really as good as everybody keeps saying that it is?

They have 3 different kinds of Protein here too. They have Metabolic Drive, Metabolic Drive Complete, and Grow! Premium Quality Whey. Which one should I get? How much does the shipping usually cost? The Protein itself doesn’t cost a lot compared to the stuff that they sell at the Vitamin Shoppe.

Thanks

At your height/weight, no one should be recommending anything other than Metabolic Drive Complete.

Of course, your primary focus should be getting in PLENTY of whole foods – meat, eggs, milk, vegs, fruits, nuts etc.

Yes, I know that I’m still small. I’m just starting out, but I still like to drink Protein before, during, and after a workout. I have put on about 5lbs since I’ve updated my profile, though.

Could you please explain what the differences between the three different kinds are?

Surge if you’re wanting workout nutrition and are not restricting carbs.

Grow! Whey if you’re wanting to do the gatorade powder + whey combo or just add some protein to meals. This protein tastes like nothing, really.

Metabolic Drive if you’re wanting a full on meal replacement or a protein to add to meals.

It’s pretty cut and dry.

Low-Carb Metabolic Drive if you’re – gasp – cutting carbs.

Everyday theres a new post about wanting to know the differences of the three proteins here. Read their articles under the products in the store.

I’m just looking for a pre, peri, and post workout Protein drink. I’m only 155lbs, so I’m trying to put on muscle and eat a lot right now. Which of the drinks would best fit my needs?

The Surge says to take it only after a workout. What’s the difference between Metabolic Drive and Metabolic Drive Complete?

Sorry if I’m getting annoying, but I just want to be sure before I pick one.

Metabolic Drive Complete has more fat and carbohydrates.

Surge can be used prior to, during, and after training. It’s the product you should choose if you want something for these times.

I’m looking at the supplement facts of Surge Recovery and it has 8% saturated fat.

Isn’t saturated fat very unhealthy and kept in the blood stream for weeks?
I don’t really care if it does have some marginal testosterone-boosting effect as much as I care about my health.
Can somebody please explain to me the reason why there is saturated fat in Surge and show a link or some proof that it won’t harm me?

Thank you,

Are you serious… You’re worried over 1.5 grams? Do your own search here on the site or don’t buy the product. Now you’re getting annoying.

It’s not even 1.5g of sat. fat- it’s 0.5g! OP, you realize that 7-8% (which is total fat BTW) is a percentage based on the completely screwed up nutritional breakdown criteria of the FDA?

I think he was looking at the original flavor, but w.e. Worrying about little things like that will get him no where.
