Which Bar Attachment is Best?

Polar bear. Native hunters considered them to be wise, powerful, and “almost a man.” Some called the bear “the great lonely roamer.”

ropes suck

close-grip v-handle sucks

basically i dont like them cause i dont a lot of muscle activation or use much weight with them.

i personally like using the E-Z bar shaped attachment for everything from pushdowns to bent extensions.

i do v-handle and the rope.

i don’t do e-z bar. my workout partner does though.

my triceps are big, you’re triceps look like my workout partner’s.

my workout partner is a girl.

OP, you can draw you’re own conclusions

LOL. but you’re still my numero uno choice for a MMF live.[/quote]

Dude, looks like your friend is about to shoot you in the head…

lol. that’s my brother, and he was standing a foot or two infront of me.

but you’re right, stupid civillians and their lack of muzzle discipline.

I love the v-handle. I get a sick pump from pushdowns with this handle. Going to do them today =)

Panda Bear. Shit, that’s not a bear…

Shhhh…Don’t tell them the secret. Now, since you posted that picture, everyone will be wanting to use it. I’ll have to wait a fucking hour to get my rope and v-handle.

Bare Chest>Other Bears

It’s all about how your hand are positioned on each of the bars. You can do this yourself. Simply rotate your hand from palm facing down to palm facing up and notice how your triceps change/feel. As well the rope I find you able to really get a full extension compared to the v-handle.

Didn’t CT say something instead of doing a drop-set (see’s no advantage to this) do what’s called a “mechanical” drop-set which is a simple hand position change/foot stance change. This in turn hits different muscles may it be in a biceps exercise or triceps (hand change).

what are your guys thoughts on one arm pushdowns?

A lot of single armed/leg things ensure for better strength development (in both arms/leg) so one is not dominating over the other when say doing BB curls. I personally like them I can get a good contraction of the triceps. Try both underhand grip and overhand to hit all the heads when compared to doing only one grip type.

One armed triceps pulldown is what you mean? I have different names for (some) exercises.
