I made a thread last week regarding cheap whey that I’m using because I’m on a student budget. The whey doesn’t come with any scoops and only says that 1 serving (30 grams) is “3 heaped dessertspoons.” Being the scientific person that I am I can’t stand vague, unsophisticated measurements like this. So I’m wondering how much mL of 80% whey, roughly, is equivalent to 30g?
I don’t think there is any way to know for sure without weighing it using a food scale, for example. If it states the total number of servings per container, you could measure the volume of the entire container and divide by that number to get your answer.
Most proteins come with a 70 cc scoop which is roughly 1/3 of a cup. A heaping scoop should yield pretty close to 30 grams of material, if you need it more precise than that weigh it.
He doesn’t have the plastic scoop cause its THAT cheap?
Dude, thats some pretty shitty protein. The issue with the mL thing is thats a volume measurement while protein is measured by weight

Step 1. Buy some measuring spoons
