He repeated these for years, in any thread where they seemed to be needed. The fact that his frustration with others came through…a LOT…should not detract from the importance of the message. In fact, his dedication to “spreading the word” (as opposed to those who just “give up on newbies”) is admirable. He kept “on message” for years.
He never kissed ass. He never spoke up for Biotest (or any supplements, that I can recall), but the Level in his profile makes it clear that he supported the site with his dollars as well as with his presence.
When he left the site, he didn’t do so by saying “This place sucks now.” or “I’ve found a better place to hang.” or “I can’t take you people anymore.” He made it clear that he was making changes–in his life and thinking–that could take him far away…maybe forever. It was a classy departure.
And if one-tenth of one percent of the readers of his posts took his advice to heart, then he did more for the community of bodybuilding at large than JohnnyBlaze or I (or many others) will ever do.

Perfect.
If I recall correctly, ProfX was consistently fighting AGAINST single-mindedness in the realm of weight training. He never once stated that a certain type of training doesn’t work, or that anyone was stupid for working out a certain way. He simply stated his opinion on what has worked for him, and what appears to work best for others, from visible proof and experience.
People can feel free to be opposed to his brashness, however he was never the bigot, and he spoke more of ‘do what works for you, not what somebody else tells you will work’ than anybody else.
Blaze and Jack I’m feeling way too much love and “well I’m not really saying that” statements. Plus all these silly toilet turd references, and movie satire type of things. Can we please get back to the personal attacks like the first few posts?

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that of the thousands of Prof X posts I’ve read 90% have been informative and constructive. He’s got almost 17500 posts! If only 10% of his posts were constructive, he’d have more constructive posts than most people have in total. Nobody can say he wasn’t an asset to this board. You may disagree with his method or dislike his personality, but when looking at the actual content of his posts he was a solid contributor.
As far as the argument on this thread, I’m all for disagreement and debate, but it has gone from debating Prof X issues to just calling each other names. I suggest getting back on topic as you are both just wasting your time at this point.
