Where Would You Move To?

Barcelona.

So I can sail the Mediterranean.

India or Canada.

India:
Pro’s
-lot’s of hot women
-hot women like me there
-cheap to live there(for the time being)
-good jobs/business opportunities
-lovely weather
-richest culture on the planet
-good food
-good people
-the mountains/lakes/rivers and the Indian ocean
-proximity to the rest of Asia
-Nice Weed

Con’s
-the corruption

Canada:
Pro’s
-hot women
-good people
-the summers
-good jobs/business opportunities
-the mountains/lakes
-healthcare
-nice Weed
-My family lives there

Con’s
-high tax rate
-the winters!!!
-too slow way of life at times!
-my family lives there

I’m thinking about moving to Miami in the Spring. Hot as hell, lots of ladies, brush up on my Espanol lol. Plus they don’t have the annoying Fall season. San Diego would be cool too, I really like that town. I have a cousin in Australia and I’d like to live their or New Zealand.

Don’t know if this will show up, but this is where I’d go.

DB

This is Torrey Pines Beach here in San Diego, and also where I had my morning cup of coffee. We’ve got it all; beach, mountains, forest, desert, city, swamps, grassland, lakes, even tiny towns and an international border

bummer! here is Torrey Pines Beach

Your photo does it no justice.

You want to live in a large expanse of water?

My personal choices of where to move…

San Diego looks awesome plus there are the stalking and clandestine photography possibilities if I get hold of OG’s address. Seems to be a lot going on there, and in San Diego too.

New Zealand - As has been mentioned it’s like somebody came up with a perfect cgi landscape and built it for real. Looks like there are some awesome extreme sports possibilities and the mountains are too good to be true.

Canada for fantastic views and lifestyle and unlike shire I do like the snow. Also read stalking possibilities above. Only downside is the ermine.

Austria or Scotland for many of the same reasons. Skiing, climbing, etc.

Much better! and that was where I was sitting at 5:30am this morning drinking my coffee and watching the surfers, if you are lucky there is a local pod of dolphins that swim very close to shore and you can watch them play. It is the most wonderful way to start a day.

I’ve always wanted to live in Chicago. I’ve been there before and I always have a great time, but I’m sure living there would probably be a different story.[/quote]

I have family and friends that live there and I get sick of hearing them grouse all the time about how much they hate living in the city. When I chide them about their inability to make the move out of that corrupt shithole, they alway make some effort, no matter how lame, to defend the city.

I too enjoy visiting the city, but after about three days, I am ready to get back home to the country where I do not have to worry about immediately locking the door to my house and wondering if my truck will still be around in the morning.

I read that, Renton!

That is why I leave my curtains open Renton

What international border? Isn’t it north of San Diego, or do you mean San Diego in general?

San Diego’s nice, but I would miss the seasons.

???

San Diego borders Mexico…

Seasons!!! We have snow in Julian! we have the mountains, the deserts, we have seasons or you can live where you have variations of summer. Truly, San Diego is big enough and diverse enough you can have any kind of weather and any type of geographic area. We have the most diverse topography of any place in the nation.

I really do love my town.

I wasn’t sure if you meant Torrey Pines or San Diego proper.

Most people that live there seem to love it, but you don’t have seasons, just variations of summer.

My sister lives in Klantee, er, I mean Santee, and she loves the weather, but when she comes back to Michigan she always comments on how green it is.

I guess it all depends on where you were raised, but I couldn’t wait to get back here whenever I’ve visited Cali.

Northwest Wyoming … Southwest Montana … pines … mountains … horses … cabin (no unibomber) …

I love this topic …

If it were another city in the states it would be Cleveland. I went to school there and have a lot of friends in the area.

If I had to pick another country I don’t know where it would be.

Its not the cold or snow. But when you have to travel to and from work in -35C weather its not a safe and fun thing to do.

I’ve been climbing on Mount Inglismaldie-pictured above, actually the whole of Banff national park in Alberta is pretty awesome.

This is part of Banff National park in Alberta. Pretty wonderful.

That looks fantastic!

What sort of climbing did you do on it? How high did you get?
