I just ordered 2 containers of Surge and 1 of the creatine. I was at 300lbs and now at 260lbs. Due to Waterbury TBT and Berardi’s 7 habits and a little ephedra. Im afraid that I have cut my calories so much that I have lost some muscle with that 40lbs. Still have quite a bit of abdominal fat to lose along with that.
Do you have any suggestions on getting back on track and how many calories I need to repair my metab. and put some muscle back on. Im 29ys old 6’5" 260lbs. Working out for a few yrs…
You’ve made some nice progress, there, TIMR … or it’s a start, anyway. Why are you afraid you lost muscle?
A few tips for those who want to lose fat and retain as much muscle as possible:
- Eat small, frequent meals
- Eat protein every meal at 1g per pound of body weight
- Consume good fat at 0.4g per pound of body weight
- Take in the majority of your carbs in the form of fibrous green veggies, beans and fruit
- Do resistance training 3 or 4 times a week, no more than one hour per session
- Optimize PWO nutrition
- Cardio is complementary, but should not be overdone
- Avoid extremes – extreme caloric deficits and extreme amounts of energy expenditure
Need help with any of the above? (grin)

The extreme calorie deficits I understand but the energy expenditure I don’t? I hit the wieghtroom 4-5 days a weed and do HIIT for 10min after…What do you think…
The buffet? What kind of question is this? Do you look like what you want to look like or was losing exactly 40 lbs what you wanted to do? It is what it is, don’t make things more complicated than they need to be. Eat right and work hard…you must have some idea of how to do that because 40 pounds doesn’t just disappear.
