Where to Buy a Calf Raise Block in USA?

Currently live in the uk, moving to USA come August, wanting to sort gym equipment out ASAP. My search only returns UK sites, any help will be appreciated

Buy adjustable step aerobics platforms and do barbell raises on them. They’re widely available.

Or you could just run hills. Calves love high reps.

Go to Home Depot, buy a piece of 2x4, cut it into 3 pieces and screw together

Or spend a few bucks on some 2X6 wood, and screw them together. Cost you about $5

I like 2X6 better base.

Anyone remember a couple of years ago a calf block made of an angled piece of wood was being sold on Amazon for over $100?

lol

I found the ad… which has since been removed by the seller.

I think it had something to do with my scathing product review!

lol

Cheers for the 2x4/6 idea guys!

Any other money saving tips? :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s what I use too. I have also used a piece of 4x4 screwed perpendicularly on top of two equal length pieces of 2x2 (like an “H” when viewed from up top). It made for a wider, more stable base

Someone here once posted his home-made block:

Coming in a close 2nd place are the $150+ sandbags. Maybe it’s worth it to become a certified functional athlete.
