Where is World Going?

Gentlemen,

This place has been one of great information, many laughs, and much debate-- and I’ve loved every minute of it. That being said, come this summer, I will be disappearing.

I re-joined the military recently because it’s something I need to do and finish on my terms this time. I was wounded in combat last time around and got medically discharged. I will soon pass my physical and report for recruit training this summer.

Until then, I will still be around to help out where I can and attempt enjoying civilian life, something not easy for me to do.

Thought I’d do this now so some of you fellas who know me better won’t think I just randomly disappear for an extended period of time.

In addition, I’ll go ahead and finish up my cycle log here. My peak reached was 231. I am currently 10 pounds lighter due to some crazy diet changes. I want to cut down to around 200-210, depending on how I feel. My training has changed quite a bit as well-- not as much weights, but a damn lot of endurance training. I wake my ass up at 0400 6 days of the week and run till I cant as of a week and a half ago. Today I got to 4.5 miles on quite hilly terrain and then walked halfway back and jogged the rest. By July I am looking to try and be able to run 10 or so miles with little effort. I’ve been through training once already, but I’m going to make it my bitch this time around so my current training scheme is largely geared toward that. Also, I won’t be running another cycle for sometime, seeing how keeping a bunch of syringes and vials in my footlocker during recruit training could lead to some obvious problems, lol. My physique looks extremely hard currently because I am dropping body fat like no one’s business due to my training and diet. This sunday I am going to try and run 3 miles in under 19 minutes. My best ever was my last time during recruit training when I weighed around 175 and just broke under 18:30. We’ll see and good luck to my heavy ass doing it, right?

That all being said, let’s have a laugh in this forum once in a while.

World

Which service?

Good luck to you World. It’s good to know we’ve got guys like you out there to keep the bad guys dead. I’ve very much enjoyed reading your posts and our chats and PMs have been really enjoyable, especially seeing as I have very, very few like minds to talk to where I live.

I wish you the best and hope you are around as much as you are able to be.

Good luck, World. As Cortes said, it’s because of people like you that we can feel safe. You’ve contributed a lot to a lot of people, so hopefully you can see some of your work completed here. And like you said, we should try and have a laugh now and then here at T-Nation.

Awesome dude. I’ve been seriously thinking of going that direction myself. Good luck.

Witch service? Sounds like USMC.

I heard about him leaving earlier as well.
He’s a good man, and our country needs more like him.
Thanks for all of your help bro. Make sure to keep in touch when you can and I’ll keep the training you set up for me going strong.

And T-Nation laugh? All they have to do is view my pics from time to time. I tend to make up rediculous poses and have some God-awful before shots. Regardless, stay safe, stay low, strife, crawl, and pick your shots. That always works for me in the video games. "-)

Knock em’ dead!

Good luck World, not that you would need it. I admire and respect each and every individual in our armed forces regardless of branch. I am sure you are an excellent soldier and will be several steps ahead of any adversary you may encounter.

As soon as I read “footlocker” and waking up at 0400, a god-awful shiver ran down my spine as 6 year-old memories all came rushing back.

I miss the days of being enlisted.

Tell me about it. While I was supposed to hit Iraq under daddy bush the first time, we ended up in dry dock with major repairs on the Vietnam era destroyer I was on, so I never caught any action. You both have my utmost respect. I do miss the time I was in. There is something about being disciplined in the manner you must be, that brings together a comradrie not found in civilian life, which is a beautiful thing to behold. Especially in a combat zone as you both know.

We already talked on this World, but I wanted to say again on your thread, that it should help your mental take on things once you’re out on your terms as you’ve said. You just take care and stay out of harms way this time or we’ll all take a massive shorty dose of the tren and come looking for you!! Ha, haaa…

Seriously though, you look great, and the training should be old hat for you this time. Keep up with readying yourself for the harsh discipline we all know too well to come, and you’re going to kick ass for this country no doubt. Just remember to keep your ass safe, and don’t take any risks not worthy of risking your life for the results obtained from them. We all have enjoyed your threads and rants along the way the past few months, lol!

Keep that sniper rifle clean and mean buddy.

                   best,

                 ToneBone

Yeah, not going away until towards the end of summer for recruit training. So it’ll still be quite a while. Tonight I’ll be asleep by 2200 and up at 0400 running my guts out. Surprisingly, my energy levels are still going good and mentally I am getting even sharper.

Why is that surprising, did you just come off?

Well I have been getting a lot less rest than I usually do and I am on an extremely low carb diet with only one cheat meal a week. And I am eating significantly less than I was before.

World

Good luck World. Its been great getting to know you and all the best in your future goals and accomplishments.

Thanks man. I’ll still be around for a long while. Not leaving till summer. Could be as early as May, could be as late as August. Depends on a lot of things, but mainly my girl… right now it’s looking to be sooner than later.

World

Crazy, they’re going to make you go through basic again? Are at least going to keep your old rank?

Perhaps he is changing service?

Good luck from me too World. Have a good journey and come back safe.

You’ve been a poster with good ideas and has earned respect.

Come back when it’s all over and pick up where you left off.
