Where Do Your 1RMs Stack Up?

Elite in almost every thing. lol.

 Intermediate in sq and dead, Un-trained in the Bench.......

Advanced in dead and bench, elite in squat (all raw, belted).

Definitely not for the actually “trained” lifter, if I’m up there!

BMI is the stupidest thing ever invented. It only ‘works’ for the actually obese person or the extremely gaunt with no muscle whatsoever. Any athlete or person who lifts even the slightest amount will appear as overweight or obese. By not taking into account lean body mass, it totally neglects the trained individual. It basically is counting all of your muscle as fat and then telling you you’re obese…well duh. No shit if I weighed this much and was 60% fat i’d be obese. But I weigh this much and am only 10-15% fat…i’m muscular and not fat at all. fuck!

sorry for the rant. stole my own post. i just hate that number. i worked in a health clinic for a long time and this stupid P.A. kept telling me how valuable BMI was…what an idiot.
