When to Start Dr. Scally's Power PCT?

Hey, guys, just a quick question about power pct.
Is it meant to begin right after last injection or when the ester clears? Say Test E for example.

Day 1-16 : 2500iu HCG every other day.
Day 1-30 : Nolva 20mg/day;
Clomid 100mg/day
Day 31-45 : Nolva 20mg/day

Never?

Why would you take HcG during PCT?

Are you familiar with his protocol? If so, can you explain how to properly use it?

His protocol is insane. It’s what you would do as a last ditch effort to regain fertility. But it’s overkill for a standard cycle pct. It’s like overkill layered with more overkill and then some extra killing off to the sides.

There is no reason why someone should need to run it when there are much simpler options available that are frankly more effective. If you’ve been abusing steroids for a decade and want to come off then yes, his approach is absolutely prudent (except the bullshit Clomid dose; that’s malpractice levels of stupid) and has been shown to be effective. But if you’re just coming off a cycle then there is no reason why you’d put yourself through that.

Thank you for your response, I’ve read a lot of your posts and you’re very knowledgeable.
I’ve to admit I did a mistake, I stayed on for too long thinking it’s the best way.
First cycle was 12 weeks of test e 600mg and dbol 40mg 6 weeks, tried to PCT couldn’t do it only lasted 2 weeks and hoped back on to ‘cruise’ at 250mg test for 14 more weeks…

I screwed up and right now I’m ready to do a proper PCT and stay off the steroids for good.
Yes, I’m another stupid 23 year old who didn’t know no better…

Could you please help me out with PCT protocol? Again thanks a lot.

Nolva 40/40/20/20

I’m not trying to down play your mistake but that’s only a total of 26 weeks chances are a normal nolva pct will be fine. You have people who run a normal pct after years of steroid use and are fine.

Again I’m not by any means suggesting what you did was OK but given your age and length of cycle unless you have some underlying issues a normal pct will be fine

Maybe I’m overestimating the damage I’ve done, maybe it’s just more psychological thing…
What would you say about nolva & clomid PCT?

  • Nolvadex 40/20/20/20

  • Clomid 50/50/50/50

Sure if using both makes you feel better about it that’s fine

Either Nolva 40/40/20/20 or 40/40/20/20/10/10. Lately I’m seeing more guys run a longer pct and results seem to be similarly good. But those are all from normal cycle lengths. You may benefit from the extra two weeks. Or maybe you don’t need it and the standard four is enough. Who knows. Skip the clomid. It’s harsh and less effective than Nolva for this particular application. (That’s backed by actual clinical evidence and not just broscience)

Thanks guys for your help so far.
Do you think I would recover fine without hcg at all? I mean I was shut down for ~26 weeks, never used hcg, but testicles don’t seem to be atrophied that much? Sure they got smaller but not as much as I expected? Also I don’t mind if it takes longer to recover, just don’t know what to expect but I guess after 6 months I should be fine? What do you think?

You’ve been given the answer already…

Stop trying to over complicate things, listen to what the guys are saying here. You’re young, assuming otherwise healthy, and you shut down one time for 26 weeks. I’ve heard of guys doing worse, and recovering even without pct, although it wasn’t a fast or fun process. Just run Nolva, expect to feel like shit while doing it, and for a little while after. Don’t let the shitty feeling be the reason you jump back on gear. Give yourself time, you should be fine man. Just be more careful forward.

I understand and appreciate everything you and others say, I just don’t want to do anymore stupid mistakes from now and yeah I won’t touch gear anytime soon, cuz I felt better natty and liked my natural physique better. Just got greedy and wanted to become big like some guys on here, without really knowing what I wanted in the first place.

It’s good that you’ve come to that realization, it’s why guys constantly are warning younger folks to wait until they’re older. Stick around here, and tell your stories to other 20 year olds who post here wanting to start. Sadly, most don’t listen.

I don’t know a ton about AAS, or the science behind everything, the guys above are far more knowledgeable. I just know people personally who have done stupider, and recovered, so I think you will be okay (unless you have some other medical issues).

Run the Nolva, if you’re really worried stretch it out like Iron said with the two weeks at 10mg at the end. Then wait a few months, see how you feel, AND GET BLOOD WORK DONE. Even if you feel okay, you may doubt your recovery, thus mentally making you feel worse. Seeing the numbers, seeing that you are good with proof from bloodwork, will remove those doubts.
