When to Incorporate Isolation Exercises?

If those stats are true… You have got to have the smallest bone structure ever. 5’11 and 200lbs with 14%BF and a 27 inch waist?

yes, it took me that long to realize that calories = gains. some people here and most people at the gym still haven’t realized this.

Dude, you look good, you are on teh right path now.

Stop letting a coward make you doubt yourself. He wants to talk shit about others from the safety of not having himself out to be judged.

Just stay focused and moving forward, fuck this faceless jackass.

Are you actually doubting the integrity of someone who posts how much they can half-rep bench press?

This guy may as well be George Washington

thanks for the kind words, beans. I wasn’t doubting myself, just offering clarification. I have been getting a lot of positive comments about my size lately. it’ll take more than random internet commentary to derail me.

I take it that you’re back from your business trip. I’m looking forward to more goodies in the race to 600 thread!

I will be leaving for good, There are other sites just as good as this one.

meat, may I ask how you would recommend how a beginner/intermediate (year or two of good, focussed training after messing around first year or so) should best go about training, main goals being strength and getting bigger (I know diet is key to getting bigger) but not necessarily competing in powerlifting?

I find I like lots of sets of 1 to 3 reps in sq and dl, and same but with sets of around 5 on pressing movements… I also find my best gains are when i focus on technique and speed and not weight lifted (this seems counterintuitive at first to a beginner!)

sorry i dont know why this post above got put in this thread…
