When Are Your Arms Considered Big?

Is there even one example of anything like that where someone’s biceps are 20" but the rest of their body looks like it belongs on a 15 year old girl?

In my early 20’s I did know a guy that looked awkward, at least to me. He really only worked his biceps/triceps/shoulders. He never did anything for legs or back really. He looked very bad IMO, especially when you saw how puny his forearms were compared to his biceps.

I hold the opinion that people like that can contribute odd growth like that to very early steroid use before they ever gain any real muscle on their own. I would think it is very hard to build big arms with little to no forearm growth (or overall body growth) without “help”.

i also have seen a little guy with huge and well build arms, and his legs were chicken like. i don’t think he has access to the “help”, he weight no most than 140. is there another way to do that?

At 140lbs, clearly your definition of “huge” is way fucking different than mine.

never mind, you should not spend your keystrokes on people lower than 250pounds.

It is my fault for asking questions to the superman’s nephew.

As always you look great on your avatar, huge arms. are they natural?

What does “250lbs” have to do with 140lbs? Are you claiming 140lbs is big to someone? Whom?

Unless you are a midget, 140lbs is tiny. If this is news to you, you may just be on the wrong site.

no, what i meant is this guy having his muscles on just one place, the remaining body was just crap. it seems odd how could one person can do that, when we break our assess trying to grow overall.

IMO you are making a mistake when you assume he has no access to steroids. They are extremely easy to find online. Then there are also prohormones which are ‘legal’ designer steroids.

It could be possible to get that distorted look without steroids maybe, I don’t know, but I am inclined to agree with profX.

When you have to sell tickets they are big enough.

My arms are 17 and a little change (several weeks ago) not much fat at all there. While bigger than average, I don’t really think of them as big.

Isn’t that because you have are really tall? IMO 17" is nothing to laugh at. It’s not pro-level (obviously), but respectable even for a tall guy. I mean, I wouldn’t push you around and steal your seat at the lunchtable…

Lol - I don’t care about you stealing a seat - just don’t touch my FOOD!!!

I too am in Tiribulus’situation - I’m 6’2 with 17" arms and, yes - although fairly big, I certainly don’t at first glance look as big as some of the guys I train with who are shorter but actually have smaller arms.

Mind you, most people still think I’m huge. I’ll be happy when I get to 19" though. This will happen.

I start cutting again soon so hopefully getting the added definition will give me the appearance of increased size. I do it for me anyway so at the end of the day it doesn’t matter shit what other people think.

Mine is .10

What’s yours?[/quote]

0.095092

And I just found out that my arms are 221% bigger than my wrists. '-_- I hate my fucking wrists with a passion

oh, shut up, arms, no matter the size are never big enough.

I have high standards for myself. If I were somebody else looking at me I would probably think I was bigger overall than I think I am. Hmmm. Hope you decipher that.

i agree. im bigger than the general public and people always make comments towards my size but even yesterday at work my skinny ass manager flexes his arm like oh see ive been working out. and me and my other manager were laughing but when he told me to flex mine, like to show him what a “real arm should look like” but i didnt really want to. i just have certain features im really content with like my back (thickness not width), ass, shoulders and forearms but things like my arms and legs i still think need a lot of work so i dont like trying to show them off although i think my biceps and calves are really starting to come up now. i actually think withen another year my calves will be one of my better features or atleast all my features will be at a level of satisfaction for me.

No, no…they are big when you don’t HAVE to flex them and a non-idiot says, “Those are some big arms.”

What are Valentino’s arms again? That’s when you have big arms.

You can’t flex fat, means something?

I wasn’t entirely serious, though I will go out on a limb and suggest that a “non-idiot” wouldn’t compliment a guy with fat arms. Right?

Well my arms are a little bigger than 16 inches cold and most shirts are not made for an arm size that big. So any shirt I wear the sleeve is squeezing my arm which gives an exagerated effect. Though it isn’t that impressive at 18% bf, :P.

yeah, I agree, there is a lot of guys like this, most of them wearing something to keep their gut under control when they lift. they are devoted to Bench and Bicep. No dieting, no nothing, and they call scrawny to anyone lower than 15% bf.

Ok, my brother has hit 15 inch arms and he’s 5’10 or so at about 70kgs, about 150-160lbs. People have started commenting. So i’d say if u’re about 5’10 15-16 arms if you’re lean people will think u have decent arms.

if youre good looking, big, or w/e people will comment. its pretty simple.
