What's your Free-Testosterone?

Ok I will keep this in mind,

How’s your red blood cells ?
And you iron levels ?

Hematocrit and hemoglobin have always been in a decent range regardless of what I’ve tried. Iron has always been normal.

Ok sounds good

Hematocrit is frustrating thing to deal with used to never have a problem with it but once I hit my 40s it has become a constant issue and unless you have a doctor that is good with running high levels good luck trying to get higher numbers Canadian doctors are way different than the states.

So I’v only seen it kind of danced around in the videos…but never fully dressed…

I’m 47 and have a full head of hair I don’t want to lose…Does the scrotal cream cause this more because of DHT?

If you’re 47 and haven’t started losing it then you aren’t genetically prone to losing it and it’s unlikely T cream will have any affect. But yeah it’s the increased DHT that causes it to accelerate in some people

I recently switched from 1 200mg injection per week, to 2 100mg injections per week. Will this change make my overall #'s rise?

Im trying twice a week due to being on 200mg per week for over a year, and just really not feeling that “wow” factor Ive heard about pertaining to much better sleep, more energy, etc… Im 55 years old and in decent shape.

My last labs were total T, 687, free T, 26. E2 was 25. I take 1 mg Anastrozole per week due to the fact that after the first 6 months on T, my E2 shot up to about 110.

Drop the AI or at least reduce it

Ive stopped it in the past and noticed a lot of fluid retention. Getting these #'s “right” seems to be a balancing act.

You’d probably do better with a higher dose of T, absolutely getting rid of the AI, and wait patiently for your body to adjust. Don’t worry about the fluid retention as it does pass. It’s your body adjusting. You are blocking the very thing that provides most of the benefits that you are looking for on TRT. Don’t worry about the numbers so much. You can always drop the AI dose down to 0.5mg a week for two weeks, 0.25mg a week for two weeks, and wean yourself off gradually.

Thanks a lot. Ill give it a try.

I literally could barely tie my shoes when I first started TRT from all the fluid, I had some major cankles going on.

It went away on its own though. Took a month or so from what I recall

Good for you. How are you dealing with acne at those levels?.

The water retention goes away on it’s own eventually. The feel good feeling (what you got on TRT for) stays. Get off the AI and start reaping the benefits and then think to yourself you could have felt this way for a year had you not taken that pill for long enough. When you do stop the AI you have to give it enough time before you start feeling good.

This is the most stupid crap Ive ever heard.
First number dont define symptomology.
Second his numbers look awesome. If he feels good at those numbers, those numbers are his optimal numbers

It is time you watch some quality material from the most knowledgeable person in the HRT area:

@arroway when I was a teen, my face and back was covered in acne. I’m prone to it. I don’t get any in my face anymore but I do get some on my back and sometimes on my arms. When it’s summertime here and I spend time outside most of it goes away. It is what it is. I’m fine with feeling as good as I am and having a few zits. The thing that gave me the worst acne is when I took hcg. My back is covered in acne scars from that stuff.

This is true. Sun (and also salty water!!) is a powerful remedy against acne. In it’s right dose (cancer, etc).

Also reducing LDL cholesterol is very effective for that. People with serious acne problem tend to have high “bad” ldl cholesterol but also see their HDL reduced in comparison with the baseline. Olive oil is very good for increasing HDL.

I’m Italian and we consume quite a bit of olive oil. My wife and I eat quite healthy and mostly eat home cooked meals at home. I could probably do more such as twice daily showers with special soaps etc but I honestly couldn’t be bothered.

Thanks for the advice. The only reason I started on the AI was after my first 6 months, my estradiol went up to 110 and my Dr. freaked out and said I was a “super converter”. Problem was, I felt fine and actually my libido was off the charts at that level. After I started the AI, E2 dropped to the 20’s and all the “feel good feelings” diminished. Im learning that when it comes to maximizing HRT, one size doesnt fit all.
