Hahaha…sorry, had to put the standard response in here. Do you think that CF can be used as some sort of active recovery? I definitely agree with you in regards to their equipment as it would be fantastic to have bumper plates and a GHR.

Ha ha I know right!

I think your spot on CF can be used as active recovery however calling it that may not be giving it enough credit alot of is very intense. For our purposes however doing one of their WODs 3-4 times a month IMO would help much more than hurt. However my main reason in taking their foundations would be able to use their facility as I really believe you can do their style of workouts anywhere…[/quote]

right. Not to mention that a lot of CrossFit classes have pretty hot girls in there sweating/grunting in real tight clothes…

hey matty!

i was thinking about you on my walk home from the gym today…

somewhere, i remember reading that wendler said that accessory work more often than not makes us weaker instead of the opposite. maybe focusing on the big lifts leading up to your meet is smart to keep your body healthy and ready to destroy come meet day.

i can’t believe we’re already on the countdown to the meet. phew, time is a flyin.

…boy, would i love a matty video to send me on my merry way this morning…

James - Thanks bud…once I start adding weight it starts to give me issues…Ill be laying off the weighted chins until after the meet.

Fisch - I have no idea what your talking about

Lula - First of all, HELLO! you really have been MIA lately…yeah homie just over a month and now is crunch time so its going to be the main lifts and very little accessory work which beats me up more than the main lifts…my vids are on strike until I get me some Lula vids…IM DRAWING THE LINE!

Derek - Im confused not about the pic which is now my screen saver he he, but the L key what does that mean?

Paul Carters Strong 15 Week 2

Squats - 205/5 235/4 275/3 300/2 320/2 345/1 365/1
Pause Squats - 315/3 285/3
HLR - 4x8-10
DL - 315/5 365/3 405/3 455/1 460/1 405/3
Chins - 10,8,5,5 (28)
Tri Ladder - 6x10
T Bar - 2plts/20 3plts/15 4plts/7,5
Weighted Pushups - 0/20 45/10 90/10

Stretched like I was made of rubber today and it helped…20 minutes of static and active stuff, hydrants, hip flexor stuff. They had some new foam rollers at my gym so I was an exhibitionist and made sweet love to it…

I still have an issue with the GMing my squats, once I get it figured out I think my squat numbers should increase…well at least I hope as im tired of languishing in the 300s…

Thanks Gregger and Cav!

Yeah guys

June 3, Im just looking to blast away my baseline meet!

Yesterday light pressing and some squats…with a month before the meet I will be dropping the squats 2 times a week…also to rest my creaky shoulder Ill probably only do light OH pressing…

Yesterday…

Squats - 135/5 225/5 275/3 315/3 350/1 (Opener) Felt easy, only issue is the bad habit of GMing the lift because the bar actually rolls up my back because of my leaning over in the hole, I have to remember to drive the elbows under the bar…

Spoon Press - 75x2x15
