Hi everybody,
I really enjoyed doing The Best Workout Plan for Natural Lifters part 1 and 2. The methods are really great, I do like the build in progression without increasing the weight. My results are amazing, I feel stronger and look better without burnout and excesive fatigue.
My question is what is next? As far as I know there is no part 3 of the plan. Is there any similar program that has the same principles and methods?
If you go to the online store, look in the “plans” category and at the hypertrophy by Thibaudeau plan, I recommend the Intensity-based plan. Similar philosophy but different application

Along the same lines as what’s next-
During the down week between the 6 week block of the plans are there specific recommendations to fill this time? (e.g., mobility, cardio, stretching, all of these, etc.)
Good question!
During those weeks I like to keep training, and training fairly hard, but with different stuff… conditioning, metcons, mobility work, plyometrics/jumps/throws, playing sports, etc.
The goal is not so much “recovery”; the way the programs are set-up you won’t b run down at the end of each 6-weeks phase. It’s to keep the body maximally responsive to the training stimulus.

When it comes to mechanical tension is there any of the methods you would change in this program?
Would you consider the “Longevity Plan” TNation has on the site as a 6 week option? Although, it does seem to beat me up more than your “Best Damn” workouts. I do am looking for a plan. I did the Next Damn forever, that worked great.
