I’ve noticed this concoction on a few nutrition labels. We all know HFCS is terrible for us, but what the hell is HMCS? It doesn’t sound very healthy considering the “high”, “-ose”, “corn”, and “syrup”.
Someone please enlighten me on this subject.

I thought all corn syrup was high in maltose…
1 Maltose is just two glucose molecules.
I saw the same thing when I read my son’s presumably healthy snack bar that the wife bought. “Theres none of that corn syrup crap in it that you bitch about all the time” was her comment. So until I know what the F* High Maltose Corn Syrup is I will not throw it back in her face…just yet.

Hmm…I didn’t know that, but why would they bother putting “high maltose” instead of just “corn syrup”?

Hahaha I love the connection between that comment and your avatar. Very awesome.
But yeah, I found it on the same type of product. Yogurt bar things that my mom bought.
