HFCS People Get Ansty

http://www.sweetsurprise.com/

Not sure if this is old or not but there have been commercials touting the benefits of high fructose corn syrup.

I’ve seen it before. The site is fucking disgusting.

Any health professional who specifically tells moms that they shouldn’t worry about what their kids are eating, just how many calories they consume can rot in hell.

Moderation my ass. The article about how candy for halloween is ok because it’s only once a year is bullshit. It’s a treat for kids like my son who don’t get candy on a daily basis, but it’s just another day of mindless sugar gluttony for 90% of the fat little turds he goes to school with.

I friggin hate that site.

take all the anti-fat dogma spewed out the past 25-30 years and replace it with anti-sugar instead, all of western society would be much better for it

There is a huge thread somewhere on this site about these commercials, and it got really heated.

Putting aside whether or not HFCS is worse for you than regular sugar, the ads specifically state “HFCS is fine in moderation.” This implies that if NOT used in moderation, it could be harmful.

My problem is that HFCS is in what, 85% of foods in markets?
