I’m ammused by this, and I figure I might get an answer on this forum, maybe someone hear has done this? What is funny about shouting “hey lance armstrong?” to a cyclist on the road? It doesn’t bother me, it actually gives me a laugh. I’m just curious where the fun is in saying that?
I mean, surely the people who do this, they also do the following:
- when near a golf course, shout “hey tiger woods!”
- when near a basketball court, shout “hey lebron james!”
- when at a stoplight, shout “hey jeff gordon!” to the car next to you
- when at a local football game, shout “hey tom brady!”
- when at a local baseball game, shout “hey barry bonds!”
RIIIIIGHT?
Wait, no. Those are american sports. I need to find a non-american sport where there is a top level american athlete…
