Wow. We put our teachers through hell at times when I was in high school, but suicide by fire makes me wonder if she should have been around kids in the first place.
Remember the good old days when they would just stress out and give a kid a blow job. Now the teachers are setting themselves ablaze? WTF
I never had a teacher in high school that I would want making me a blowjay. It might have helped my grades if there were some milfs. lol
Yeah me either, But seems 8yrs ago it was all the rage with young teachers.

Paging HolyMacaroni…
Question…no psych evals for teachers or background checks?
I mean…does someone set themselves a blaze with ZERO red flags?

Don’t count unless he was in school when it happen. Hell I’ve banged enough teachers in my time have my own Highschool.
I think it is hard to understand how disruptive a student can be in a class. It is more than just this lesson got messed up, but it affects the rest of the semester and adds considerable stress as the teacher has to maintain control of the class and cover the same material in a shrinking amount of time.
Is this settimg yourself on fire disruptive? I guess in this case, yep. When there are.mutliple disruptive students, poor support from administration, and adversarial parents then the teachers life can start to get pretty stressful.

…so you bring gasoline and a match to school?
What was plan B?
“Can you barbecue faster than a 5th grader”?
I thought this was going to be another hot teacher thread.

Damn good question. They did say they had her in a meeting before it went down. So who knows.
I had a guy take the van one day for a Dental and they found him on the side of the road after he stuck his side arm in his mouth. All I remember him telling me was the week before how things had changed. Thats it.

It is.

I have actually had a couple of teachers removed from classrooms because they had nervous breakdowns. The stories behind them was generally that the accumulating stress caused it. That happens. Perhaps it happens in this case.
I agree, shame to waste fire like that.

No psych evals and no background checks for me.
a competitive examination. purely academical.
Then, one year of “training” (half the time in the classroom, half the time listening to the bullshit experts who were most of the time ex-teachers and failed ones themselves).
then teaching full time.
that’s all.
If i want to give some red flags, i can speak with my hierarchy. If i don’t want, no one will ever ask.

Teacher’s recruitment in France is based on strictly academic criteria, not pedagogic ones.
For this reason, many individuals who are not suited to this (pretty hard) job end up in classrooms populated by an increasing number of near-savages.
It doesn’t seem to be much better here in the states anymore. Most of the teachers who were in it for passion seem to be leaving. They seem to want mindless drones in the classroom…and don’t we show how well that is going.
To Paraphrase George Carlin:
Sounds like a great way to churn out massive amounts of young people that are just smart enough to do mindless boring office work, and just dumb enough to accept doing it for shitty pay.
I think I’d rather have more free thinkers/interesting people around. Good people enrich my life more than money ever has.

Am I the only one who is concerned about global warming with all the carbon dioxide being released by burning French women?
