What Supplement to Invest In?

Yea 225 at 5’5" is big, I am a little heave right now and when I started I was a whopping 225. Always been stocky always had a slow metabolism. As for super foods supplement, I have already started changing my diet by eating more of these in this group (ex. today I mixed 1/2 cup of blueberry’s with my shake, ate banana and Lima beans as part of my dinner. I am slowly leaning out and following diet advice on this forum will make all the difference I’m sure.

You may think I don’t need much else but Im doing more then just cutting, I want to keep my weight on the higher end of 200 lbs when getting to my body fat % goals because to me it almost wasn’t worth having abs show if it meant I was going to have to be a light 178 lbs (didn’t like playing football and being pushed easy because I was lighter then I was used to).

I am just experimenting with new supplements and I’m glad I asked questions and I am very excited to possible get better results. I do have a few more curiosities but I’ll read around or make appropriate threads to discuss slightly different topics. I feel like going on and on but this thread was for supplement suggestions and I feel its served its purpose. Thanks all

In the best intentioned way, I still think you are inaccurately judging what 200 pounds on a non-drug-aided 5’5" is made of, even if the person is heavily muscled.

I’m 5’8, and I came close to 220 at one time, and it wasn’t pretty. No matter how much I told myself I was just bulking, in hindsight, it was a bit delusional on my part.

I hate to sound like a bubble burster, but you must realize that the chances of that happening, of putting on so much muscle as to remain over 200 lbs while whittling away to a lean physique at 5’5, is pretty impossible right?

For performance, I completely understand maintaining a certain bodyweight. For appearances though, it’s a different ballgame. At my last (Pro) show I weighed in at 178 lbs - in contest shape mind you, and believe me, no one was thinking I looked small.

POst away brother! lots of helpful folks on here

S

Yeah, I agree with brick too.

When I was 205lbs, at 6’2" 14% body fat, it was hard to add more lean muscle only. At 225 I don’t have abs but I’m built like a truck. 5’5" and 200 doesn’t seem realistic, not trying to hate, just saying.
