What Sports are Soft?

What sports are soft and sissified?
And why?
Curling?
Table tennis?
Dart throwing?

Are table tennis players softies?

That man is a Chinese Weight lifter.

He just happens to be playing the “People’s Sport” in that photo.

Soft=non contact?

Cricket.

Dont get me started on these pansies.

they’re not all pansies. The majority also play rugby or did.

Fencing.

Why do you need to wear a beekeeper outfit when your opponent is swinging a “foil”?

MMA…

(…kidding…!)

Mufasa

Are you for real?

Coming from an aussie thats quite a statement.

tell THAT to Boonie.

Here we go again…

Is there going to be 10 threads today reminiscent to “Sambo ANIMALS”?

Gridiron.

Take of your pansy padding.

When you go down on the ground, let half the other stomp on your head like they do in rugby (union, not that tap tackle version)

Just kidding, I used to play union and have had people stomping on my head, but I think I prefer that to having someone’s helmet smacking into me.

I don’t think any sport is weak at the highest levels, they all are really competitive.

I think physiologically, 400m dash is the hardest on you - I think that is the hardest thing for the body to cope with. And there is no slacking off like you can in a team sport. Or ultra marathons, also very taxing.

For contact sports, often the worst ones are NON contact sports - when accidents happen.

And finally, amateur is often worse than pro - because people get away with stuff they couldn’t get away with in pro because more people are watching. Illegal tackles etc…

Ha ha ha !!![/quote]

because the bees are attracted to the foils

seriously though, even a foil can kill you easy enough, or take out an eye. or break and send bits everywhere. I’ve drawn blood through the vest with a foil. How, I don’t know.

But some fence with sharp longswords and no gear.

but hey some people set off railway detonators for fun

The vast majority of sports are really pretty soft.

trolling

B/c you don’t want lacerations on your face, have your throat slit/stab, or have the foil go through your eye and into your brain.

There was an instructor who found out his wife was cheating on him with his student. One day he told the student he was so good he didn’t need his head gear.
Instructor put his Epee through the students head killing him.

Even though you wear protective gear you will still get injuries.
-Dislocated fingers
-Bruises
-Poked in the nut sack
-Hard strikes/stabs do draw blood
(What I’ve experienced)

Golf

Curling

Bowling

Removal of wristwatch separates games from sports

Perhaps not all sports are suppose to leave you with injuries everytime you play.

What’s with the highschool “tough guy” mentallity?
