They have one album that’s full of covers called Garage Inc. that’s where the Diamond Head, Queen, Motorhead, etc. covers come from.

Everything else they’ve done, from Kill’em All to the newest album, is original. I don’t understand how you could even come close to being serious in calling them a cover band or saying that their shit isn’t original.

They were heavily influenced by a few bands and they even covered a few.
they got their start by covering bands that they liked, Diamond head has to be the biggest, you should check them out they are like the metallica of the 70s they are a really cool band, I think any real fan will see where they come from and is interested by the old stuff.

They started out as a cover band and they made it and started making their own songs. I just like it when these band wagon fans get all angry when you call them a cover band but yes about 50% if not more if their original works and demos were covers. I knwo I own all the bootleg demos all the way back to 1982

In general, most bands get their start playing covers and closely emulating the work of other bands and artists. They don’t usually some into their own as far as their sound until they start getting demos to studios or releasing albums.
