What Kind of Milk do You Drink?

Haven’t had a glass of milk in about 7 years. Doesn’t work well for my digestion (lactose intolerance). I just got tired of dealing with the discomfort. Ironically I can eat some dairy products, just not milk.
I bet you might do well with kefir though. Its a fermented milk product which means its already pre-digested. It also happens to be a powerhouse for a natural source of probiotics which as you problably know are vital for optimal GI health.

I’ve got a mild case of lactose intolerance where most of the times i don’t get any symptons of lactose intolerance but on some occassions i do. That’s why i take a couple lactase pills b4 drinking milk just to be on the safe side.

I have nipples Zap…could you milk me?

1% now but I used to drink 2% FOREVER and still do sometimes. I will NOT drink skim. It’s like white paintbrush water.

I drink human breast milk only. I am part of a cooperative that shares large volumes of breast milk imported from Asian breast milk sweat-shops. It is the best milk for the purpose of building huge muscles! You can put it on cereal and even make ice-cream out of it!!

LOL But is it organic?

Probably not, but maybe free range.

I want a tour of the dairy…
How bout some free samples or taste-test straight from the source? ^^

nobody has seen “the animal”?

I found a natural foods type place 5 minutes from my house that sells raw milk. I keep meaning to try it, is it that good?

Every person I’ve heard has said it’s better than regular milk. Plus it’s easier to digest because it hasn’t been screwed around with.
I drink raw milk like alcoholics drink beer… it really is THA SHIT!

To comment on “inthego”…he drinks grizzly.lol

Ha ha… here in South Africa the secrets for the biggest guys is to drink Elephant milk or lion milk fresh… the only problem is that you have to go and milk them yourself(this really kicks up your heart rate - best cardio ever).lol

Some interesting info:
“Irwin Johnson was the first supplement manufacturer who understood the importance of hormones in the development of muscle tissue and discovered that the fat in milk could increase hormonal production. For this reason, he recommended that his protein be taken with cream. The nutritional authorities at the time scoffed at Johnson’s theories and were convinced that the liberal use of cream would add unwanted fat. As it turned out, Johnson’s clients were losing fat at an alarming rate! What Johnson was advocating was strikingly similar to what is now known as the ketogenic diet. Variations of Johnson’s plan are known as the Atkins diet, the Zone diet, and the high fat diet. Whatever you call it, it was a low carb, high protein, high fat strategy for ultimate muscle growth and optimum fat loss - and it worked.”

So Whole Milk is the best and it’s all about calorie manipulation and the proper ratio’s of nutrients.

With all due respect, if you drank a lot of whole milk you would be nowhere near ketosis, so I don’t see how the study is relevant to your statement. However, I agree that whole milk is better than lower fat varieties. I love fat.

Bulking Whole Milk its So good with some Good chocolate protein powder in it!

if Im cutting then no dary at all!

soy milk

is there such a thing as raw skim milk? or does that contradict itself by definition?

thanks

I used to drink skim for years, but now that I’ve found Calorie Countdown, I’m hooked on the 2% and the Chocolate.

There is. Organic Pastures Dairy of southern California makes raw skim milk last time I checked… skim milk is really just a by-product when you take all of the butterfat from the whole milk… still a great source of protein and vitamins.
