What is Your Injection Schedule?

Guys, question… just about to start my HRT cycle. Instructions are

Test Cypionate:
EDIT 11:20am: 200mg/ml

Inject IM 0.5cc 2x weekly - should I start this on a Monday?

HCG
Inject SubQ 0.25 2x weekly

what does your injection schedule look like?

Should I start it on a Monday? or does it matter?

Daily shots. Its always the same. TRT doesnt depend on what day of the week you inject. Base yourself on your own schedule and what works for you.

I inject every 3 days and keep a log of injection date and time in my notes as well as any important info, like missing a day or something.

None of this computes, it’s not a dosage, only volume of medication to be injected. When I was on injections some vials were 100ml and others 200ml, .5ml from the 100 ml vial would be 50mg.

Injections is old school, I take twice daily (orally) Jatenzo.

Treatment begins the moment you start injecting.

i’m just trying to follow what I was prescribed. Do u inject HCG? or are you done having kids etc?

100 mg T cyp once per week.

It does not. Choose whatever days work best for you.

Are you serious? That simply is not true.

My thoughts as well… I think taking a pill could possibly put more long term strain on your kidneys etc… u metabolize it.

Hence oral AAS r far worse for you then injectables (correct me if I am wrong) :man_shrugging:t3:

But if it works for him then who’s to tell him different

So injections haven’t been around the longest out of any other method of administering testosterone?

No, they have not, however, not the point. “Old school” typically means old fashioned, outdated, behind the times, unpopular, etc. The fact that something has been around a long time, or the longest, does not mean any of those are true.

If you meant old school in a positive way, like traditional, it does not come across as such when you go on to promote a relatively new commercial product with the implication that it is better. By the way, over the years, how many different testosterone protocols have you tried? Whatever they are, they are always the best, the greatest, “top notch”, best doctors, etc. That is, until you move on to the next new thing, which I suspect will happen with the oral med. If this stuff works for you, and I think you mentioned you were able to get your insurance carrier to cover the cost, good for you. You have struggled with TRT for a very long time. Hopefully, you’ve finally found your solution.

It will be interesting to follow the progress of Jatenzo in the market. I suspect it will go the way of the gels. But, maybe not? We will see.

My dr. was very hesitant about me trying Jatenzo.

Even though the product claims to bypass liver on first absorption, it comes with many disclaimers about potential for liver issues on the warnings.

I guess systemlord is our guinea here.

That is what I meant.

Unless the price goes down, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Not the Jatenzo he’s referring to. Doesn’t work like other oral AAS.

I pin EOD. Nice and stable. Maybe overkill though.
