Then the British would have taken it away from them and made it a colony. We would of fought redcoats instead of Santa Anna at the Alamo. We’d own all of Mexico now or they would own Calif, Texas and the SW.

canada is a member of the British Empire. In theory, if the British Empire acted with a more extreme degree of unity, it could be the largest “country” per se.

If their population collapse continues, it just might become viable. Of course there would be some irony in that the only way Canada would obtain the demographic might to invade Asia would be from Asian immigrants going to Canada.
