I wanted to know what people in Off-Topic think of the PWI.
Personally, when I go there its like im reading fox news.
There are a lot of classical liberal/libertarian types and Ron Paul supporters in there. The tone of the forum is very decent as far as political forums go.
I have never understood why “Politics and World Issues” = “Conservative Echo Chamber”.
OTOH, Biotest/T-Nation does an admirable job of letting us use their site to talk about a ton of shit, and they can’t control how the crowd chooses to organize itself…

Fox News doesn’t even cover half the stuff PWI does. Some strange happenings over there.
As long as I look past the ‘tone’, and stay detached from the the subject matter, I like to lurk and learn from the various people who know what they’re talking about.
Half the time, i’d like to hunt a few down and break their fucking jaws… That’s when I go back to SAMA and GAL 
Wait…this is the first time I noticed the “Off Topic” in the list of forums. I’m getting old…is this new?
It’s like when you walk into a newly painted room and for a minute wonder if it’s new or it’s always been green and this is the first day you noticed it.

I think that happened today.
It sucks. back when posters like BBB and others posted, it was way better discussion. It has gotten retarded. If a post gets moved there, I will likely avoid it. That is a huge difference from the huge discussions we used to have that people actually read.
It needs more balance.
It’s 90% religious conservatives, 10% godless liberals.
It can be hard to read sometimes but, posters like Cortes, Pat, and Kamui (awesome stuff) keep it interesting.
There are some seriously religious head-bangers over there.

I haven’t followed Obama’s term, but I highly doubt he’s a complete idiot who has done nothing right as he’s depicted ^ here.
They’ve called his wife illiterate.
They think he’s not smart because his grades and thesis have been kept secret.
It would be nice if there was a balanced perspective especially for those of us not completely up to speed on the topic.
