It seems unlikely that he’s for real. Then again, the first time I saw Rush Limbaugh I thought it was the best SNL sketch ever. Even though I didn’t know who they were making fun of, I did know that no one in real life or on TV could be so pompous.
It’s a short hand to point out anyone just being a trolling jackass, arrogant know-it-all or just lacking the ability to put together a rational thought.
That is supposed to show that legacy and aristocratic family ties will get you into the higher echelons of society, not actual ability.

in Northern Virginia Community College w/ a 2.7 GPA. transferring to VCU this coming Spring. i’d love to go to an Ivy League, but than again…i’ve got friends and relatives that are doing very well w/ a non-ivy league school degree.

I think it’s less about the fact that he goes to Yale, and more about the tone of his second post where he brags about giving blow jobs…I mean being assigned “special project” with an executive level manager…feeling bad for all the non-ivy leaguers he works with so he gives them coffee and donuts…
