I went to TSB.
“What College Did You All Go To?”
That’s a real Ivy Leaguer way of putting things. Don’t you mean Bale? As in, Hay Bale. I guess it’s better than yous guys, though.

Of course.
But they offer superior networking. For all you know my young lad, the guy you study with may be president in 25 years. That kind of networking opens up a lot of doors.[/quote]
If you need to pay that much in order to network, I feel bad for you. Most of us do just fine by having personalities.

What a fucking TOOL!
It is obvious that the school of life has passed you by though.
Roanoke College in VA for undergrad
Dowling College in Oakdale, NY for grad
Grab a clue guys -
So much anger over this Monty guy?
He is a poser - created by a regular poster here to piss people off. Kudos Georgie.
I find it hilarious that people get so mad at something so obviously contrived and fake.
Villanova
holllla
Let me ask people this… if he started and said he went to I dunno, FSU or something, and someone later said Yale, would you be giving him the same shit?
Anyways, I’m going to Pomona next year, I just got my acceptance letter three days ago, I went ape-shit. It feels so good to get into a first-choice college, especially since my essays sucked, I didn’t think I had a chance.
Oh, and as for this monty guy, stroke yourself some more, maybe someone who went to a “lesser school” will give a shit.

In fact, every single one of his posts has something pretentious and feigningly aristocratic in it. He’s trying to piss you off. And in general, people who go to ivy league schools don’t act like this.
Although his characterization of the legacy/old-money european acting this way is pretty spot on. You wouldn’t believe how many people think they’re entitled to a good education because their granddaddy built a dorm.

Are people just looking for shit to be pissed about? This guy isn’t even a good troll. He is just the newest one on the board. There have been better.
I guess he did his job since this shit is over two pages long and growing.
I think he’s quite entertaining. Besides, since Classyballs has obviously thrown in the towel, it seems he’s all we’ve got.

Despite the overwhelming legacy I feel my 2.7 GPA at Ithaca was the reason I got in, not Winthrop Jr, Sr. etc.

I can’t imagine mummy was happy with such a low GPA. Not to brag unduly, but my esteemed father went to Cornell after being accepted with a 4.0. I can’t see why you would brag about such embarassingly low marks.

I’m not sure he’s even trying to piss people off. He could just actually want to know where you went to college you know? You don’t have to respond with “fuck you asshole for having money and getting a good education and then having the nerve to tell me about it!”
It’s nice to see which posters have that much anger bottled up though.
I think he is funny.
I went to Cambridge, or was it Oxford?
Either way I earned my Blue.

Yea this is a pretty blatant trolling job here. Everything he says is a TSB.

Congratulations. The GPA comment was to show that colleges universities and other fine institutions want people that have a history of doing well. You obviously missed the point old chap. Good day.

What’s the congratulations for? I don’t get it, but then again, I’m not as well edgumacated as you, I only went to the University of Phoenix, and a couple 'a community colleges.
I thought other “fine institutions” only cared if you’re well connected and have money; and can kiss the ass of others who are better connected and have more money, no?
5% of those admitted to Duke get in because their parents are expected to contribute significantly.
I also thought it was funny that the guy going to Pomona couldn’t find the sarcasm. Doh!
I’m trying to get accepted to UTSB!
