I’ve been using the app for years, mostly for friends and family but an occasional business purchase or transfer from a customer is accepted, id normally deal in cash or cheque. Recently a friend told me to not use PP for business as its not truly intended for it, but he also rambled about its old ties to eBay so ill discredit him for now.
What do other people know and think of the app, I’m not always in the know about the best financial routes. I do well for myself but is there something I’m meant to use instead of pp? Think I need to start re-educating myself.
PayPal has an entire business package for their product; if you haven’t run into any problems with the tax man, I don’t see why you wouldn’t continue to use it.
A lot of younger people (Millenials and Gen Z) like Venmo, which is basically paypal but a bit easier to use. I’ve seen numerous people use this for business transactions and I believe information can be exported for tax purposes. This might suit your needs better and may expand your customer base, considering most millenials and gen z don’t know how to write a check.
If you’re buying drugs, be Professional about it and bring cash.
