Down a pound or two. No Wendy’s (“Kimba”, in my best Seinfeld / Newman voice) and backing off on protein shakes.

Video whoreness

nice video whorishness

I need to do some RDLs/SLDLs…

I knew Wendy’s was evil - look at all the Pr’s you busted out from without those chemicals floating in your blood stream.

l.o.v.e. the war cries. kinda reminds me of Sparticus.

mmmmm.

Thanks Dog. I’ve been in denial but my hams suck. Time for some focus on them.

Mainy, there are some advantages to training in isolation. I can get my warrior on and not feel like a douche. And my air guitar is really coming along

Very nice, Git. I hate reps period. I could be a happy single girl.

Hmm, that didn’t quite come out how I meant it.

Thanks Snap. It is always a bit of a battle for me to find the balance. I need the reps to add some muscle to assuage my vanity. But I’m pushing to get my numbers to something respectable (4,3,5 club)

As per the thread title, being stronger without having some visual evidence (bigger) doesn’t interest me much. Conversely, being all show and no go doesn’t interest me either.

Even if you tried to be single there would be suitors a plenty.

Diggin the zerchers bro, 370 is no joke, awesome.

Done today. The guy is a showman…and a forklift. Unbelievable how easy this looked.

Great training Git! Making those push presses look easy.

Those zerchers are pretty hardcore too. Damn! They really don’t hurt your arms?

video whorishness much appreciated by the female contingency - thank you!!

Thanks  I can’t get my elbows up any higher though, unless I use a false grip and that feels unstable. I don’t see any Oly lifting in my future, ha.

I can’t go bare arms but if I wear a sweatshirt or two it’s fine. I think I’ll stick at this height until I get to 400lbs or so and then drop the pins down a hole to get more quad action.

I’ll keep being a video whore if you will  Don’t forget about a soccer vid…that would be cool!

Great pressing dude, particularly since you are doing it in a meat locker.

seriously I can’t believe you spent the winter there without heating. you trump us all in hard-assedness.

another PR while dieting? I think da bro is on the creatinz.

I actually wasn’t as bad as it looked. But I am looking forward to being able to combine some outside stuff in the backyard with heavy stuff in the shed. And not have to wear a touque.

It’s a pretty mild “diet”. I’m probably down about 500 calories a day. Another 2-3 weeks and I’ll evaluate the situation.

Today’s training:

  • 30 minute brisk walk in the morning
  • plank with 235lbs for 90 seconds in the afternoon
  • some DB bicep work 'cause mah gunz are a bit lame.

Pretty soon you’ll be getting oiled up on stage.

Or by a vixen on the beach.

That’s an amazing plank Git, I remember when the goal for you was to do 90#

I heartily approve of you breaking up with Wendy. The one true path to getting oiled up at the beach by a Vixen.

Nikki, I like the way you think waaayyy better than Joe’s idea (no offense Joe). I better stick with this diet a bit longer.

I built a super-special bar holder for planks (scrap wood and hockey tape was involved) so the barbell doesn’t roll off my back. Much easier to manage.
