We're Making Babies!

My wife recently found out that she is pregnant! She started to wonder in December, but she went to the doctor & it is for sure.

We have a boy (10 years), and 2 girls (9 & 7 years). They are real excited. As you can tell by the age span, we were wondering if we wanted to continue growing our family . . . that choice has been made for us.

We are only telling our co-workers, family, and close friends now. I had to tell the T-Nation.

That is great family man, my wife and I just found out about 4 weeks ago about our first.

I agree with you about having to tell T-Nation, I did in my post (something so small yet so profound)because this place feels to me like a big family.

Granted sometimes we are dysfunctional, but all in all one big family. Congrats once again.

You are a true family man. Congrats!

Congrats,

My wife and I are trying for our first now. Well…Not RIGHT now, but you get the picture

Best wishes

My first instinct is always “Better you than me!” LOL Congrats and best wishes!

Our first instinct was to not handle the news well. We were scared to death! It isn’t like we haven’t gone down this road before, but we have become comfortable with our lifestyle now.

We are very happy about the pregnancy now. We don’t even need therapy. Thanks to all of you!

FM:

CONGRATULATIONS!

An observation: I’ve found that when that “ooops” baby usually comes along, they are often the greatest blessing that a family could possibly have!

All too often they tend to “refocus” a family, that as the kids get older, tend to go in their own directions.

They just seem to become a bright light that tends to re-define your family.

(P.S. They ALSO tend to get spoiled beyond recognition! LOL!)

Again…congratulations!

Oh…

Thanks for PM’ing me the new family pics, FM!

Congratulations, man!

You are right. Our family is tight as it is, but this is doing some good things for our kids. They are really interested in what they can contribute to help the baby.

As we were thinking about having more kids, I kept dwelling on thoughts that we have more to give kids at this point in our life. We started having kids when I was 20, poor, and in college. I now have a solid job and more ability to provide. More importantly, I find myself to be more PATIENT with my kids and wiser in dealing with them.

And yes, there will be MUCH spoiling.

Congrats to all those having babies. It really is an amazing event that only changes your life in positive ways as far as I am concerned. I love being a dad. My 10 month old is an absolute blast!

Congratulations FamilyMan! Sounds like the name fits you.

Congratulations! I admire the fact that you are going for your 4th!

We are about 15 weeks away from our first kid arriving and getting very excited about it now. I will of course post a few photos here after it is born and I get over the fact that I have become a dad!
